| [PTabbedContent=Taira no Masakado Saber][PTab=Status]Parameters STR | | C | END | | A++ | AGI | | A | MNA | | D | LCK | | C | NP | | B |
Personal Skills Skill 01 | Vitrification: D (A) | A serene state of mind. A mental protection that nullifies mental interference. Normally this skill would be quite high, allowing Masakado to block out any mental interference, but his status as a god of fury lowers this rank, and makes him quite susceptible to anger from blatant disrespect.
|
Skill 02 | Eye of the Mind (False): A | The ability grants an effect of offering resistance against penalties caused by visual obstructions. Calm analysis of battle conditions, by which competent grasp of the status of the self and the opponent are obtainable even in the midst of danger; utilization of such to deduce the appropriate course of action that permits escape from a lethal predicament. |
Skill 03 | Divinity: C One's nature as a divine spirit. While Masakado was fully human in life, his post death deification by Japan into a god allows him the rank of C. | Skill Description |
Class Skills Skill 01 | Magic Resistance: B | Grants protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. Despite having historically existed, Masakado's post death deification has boosted his mystery greatly, giving him a much higher rank. |
Noble Phantasm
| Samurai of Straw One is Eight and Eight are One | Rank: C | Type: Anti-Group | Masakado was said to possess seven straw clones of himself to act as decoys. Here, they take the form of shadow clones, or even just extra swords. Upon activation of this Noble Phantasm, seven straw clones will either appear, or they won't. If they appear, then they are, parameter-wise, one rank weaker than the real Masakado, and also do not have access to any of his Noble Phantasms or skills, meaning they are much easier to kill than the real thing.
The other use is as extra swords. Whenever Masakado swings, it won't be from one angle but eight only with a very slight delay, not even a second. This makes engaging Masakado in close, single combat a death sentence. |
Noble Phantasm
| Blessings of the Shaman Faith and Hope Lie Within | Rank: B | Type: Support | Masakado's people believed in him, and thrust a powerful destiny on his shoulders. He was blessed by the Shaman, and those blessings not only put a great destiny upon him, but also the burden of fulfilling that destiny, no matter the cost.
These blessings make Masakado incredibly hard to kill. His skin becomes like a sheet of steel, tripling his END parameter (++). They also impart the concept of "absolutely endure," an extreme level of Battle Continuation and Independent Action. So long as Masakado has faith and hope in success, he cannot truly die. So long as he believes there can be success, he will continue to get back up no matter the injury. Because of the moniker of "Headless Samurai" that Masakado obtained, not even decapitation is enough to bring him down, so long as there is still hope. However, if his body is absolutely destroyed, then this Noble Phantasm can be considered "overcome." This blessing can also be imparted on anything Masakado touches, granting the item the tripled endurance as well, allowing even the most basic items to fend off Noble Phantasms. |

- Name: Diwai-Kaikaim (Tree Eater)
Type: Magical Beast, Chimera,
Threat Level: C
Behavior: Scavenger type, with territorial outbursts. When in foreign environments and nervous it can prove aggressive.
Encounter Rate: Member of an estimated population of 100 or so, in Papua New Guinea.
Characteristics: A rare monstrous beast that is both feared and revered by a handful of indigenous locals, but otherwise unknown to the world at large. They are somewhat similar to an enlarged bear in build, being 10 feet when standing upright and having similar musculature in the hind legs and torso. They move around by knuckle-walking, although they can sometimes walk bipedally for short distances while carrying food or in defensive situations
Their arms are, bluntly put, intimidating weapons that can put the entire animal kingdom to shame. Together they make up for almost half of the creature's weight, and they are at least 10 times as strong a gorila's and if ranked in servants stats it would endow them them slightly superior to an A rank strength stat. Further more, they have a single large retractile claw that is both light are tremendously durable which they use to chop down the trees they feed off.
They have dentition that's shaped like a human's and not suitable for biting enemies. Rather, they prefer to apply the significant force it generates to crush wood and vegetation for their own consumption.
Strengths: They can only move at around 40 km/h, but their endurance allows to sustain this speed for long periods of time. Within the realm of chimeras they are extremely hardy, and can survive and brush off things that would spell certain death for less specimens. Their intelligence is about the same of a wild hog, and they are not predatory beings.
