Godfreya noticed that the boy had never uttered a word since they met. Was he shy? She thought to herself as she fixed the coffee mix on the kitchen. As she finished preparing the coffee, she gestured to Kinu to sit on the living room sofa. Although it was extremely small, too small to be even called as a sofa, as the size of Godfreya and Kinu were enough to fill the entire space of the furniture. "You can take out your scarf. I have turned the heater on."
Though Servants were immune to natural temperature, it seemed this quarter was built with a heater and air-conditioning unit. Godfreya initially thought of it as was meaningless but realized its importance when housing human visitors. As she glanced herself at the mirror, she realized she was still wearing her armor. How impolite! Was what shrieked throughout her mind. With that though, the armor which she wore slowly, like a strip tease, dematerialized and what was left were blue sleeveless shirt, blue sleeves that stretch up to her elbow with white cross marks and blue leggings with another cross design. She wore no skirt, rather, it was a blue cloth that look like an underwear. . .no, it must definitely be her underwear! During her life, Godfreya hated too much clothing, especially inside her armor as it was too hot for her to move. Right now she doesn't mind it but, this cannot be helped since her armor was now temporarily gone. As she finished undressing in front of Kinu, she turned her back on him and winked with a cute smile. "I'll just take a bath. It's been a very long time since I have experienced it."
While humming, she walked to the bathroom which was definitely almost transparent, divided by that thick glass door, to the living room. As she undressed herself for the showers, her shadowy figure through the thick glass door was displayed to Kinu, and after a few moments, the sound of showering water was heard.

Nodding in return for the simple gesture, Kinu would nervously sit down on the small couch; feeling a bit more comfortable now that he had something to keep him grounded. However, upon the suggestion to take off his scarf, the homunculus would shake his head – his fragile nature made the extra warmth important to him… plus, he liked the scarf a lot in any case! It made him look cute! Or so he’d been told… or perhaps he’d just told himself. Sitting idly aside, the boy just entertained himself with looking around the room – it really was a lot cozier than his… he didn’t even have a seat like this; he just knelt on the ground. But… that was sort of nice in its own way, wasn’t it?
Waiting quietly, Kinu took a moment before noticing Godfreya’s current order of business – and very hastily tried his utmost not to notice it. That was a bit impolite! More than a bit! Feelings of predation shadowed the boy once again, albeit feeling slightly different now… but it was certainly still threatening. Not helping his stressed state was a certain kitsune giggling their head off about what they’d noticed… spouting meaningless numbers and gushing about ‘width’; it was just confusing to Kinu. This sort of situation was the worst… when he and Kagero started thinking about things differently or the spirit got especially exciting, it always made it so hard for him to concentrate! And with his current nerves, it was even worse…
Too busy being utterly embarrassed to notice Godfreya’s wink nor remark, the homunculus just buried his head in his hands; doing his best to purge the image from his memory – only to hear the gentle pour of water… they could hardly hear themselves think over all Kagero’s nonsense! Holding their head in both pain and frustration, the blushing boy would just try and bury himself into the couch; giving up entirely on maintaining his composure. The last thing he wanted was someone to see him in this state! He wanted to cry… he really would get killed by the Servant at this rate! But, maybe that was a better fate than having to brave them like this! At least he couldn’t talk, so Kagero’s attitude wasn’t about to leak through…

As she exited out of the bathroom, wearing only a towel wrapped around her body, she noticed the young boy facing down on the couch. This made Godfreya chuckle in amusement. Quietly, she tiptoed towards the young boy and crouched in front of him. She pinched his cheeks with her still wet fingers and would smile at him if he would turned his head towards her. This scene was very cute indeed, she agreed. She stood up while still looking down at Kinu. While having those affectionate eyes, she glued them at his as she stroked her wet hair.
"Do you want to take a bath as well? It's hot."
She told him as she turned her back from him and was headed to the bedroom. Though Godfreya could just materialize her armor, it would be inappropriate to wear them just after a pleasing shower. Thankfully, Chaldea had provided the Servants extra casual clothing for their day offs. It was a good item to use to not stand out especially when one wished to have fun outside.
Before she opened the door to her bedroom, she turned her head back to the young boy again. He must still be feeling shy. Godfreya thought that he should build confidence early on as problems and challenges would confront him as he grew older. For a boy, crossing the boundary to manhood was key to survival. Even for Godfreya, though she was and is a woman, did so to follow her ideals.
"I advise you to stop feeling shy, young boy. Or, perhaps do you dislike this knight's hospitality?"
She asked him still thinking that this time he would build the confidence to speak and to say an answer.

Jolting upright upon being grabbed by his unlikely host, the boy seemed even more skittish than before now that he’d been ambushed – however, his utter confusion quickly overcame his shock or fear. W-Wet hair… t-towel… a-and… err, was it right for a homunculus to feel this sort of thing? The poor pseudo-human would swiftly go red in the face, turning away hastily to retain his dignity… alas, he hadn’t any back-up in that aspect. Ninety! Over ninety! Both top and bottom! Servants really were legendary! A dream come true! Yes, that was exactly the reason he was feeling this sort of thing… a certain kitsune brat was messing with his head, as usual! No matter how much she begged, Kinu was not going to stare in order to double check! Auugh!
Trying his utmost to regain his composure, the homunculus hopped to his feet and gave a deep sigh; meditating half-heartedly in an attempt to focus his attention elsewhere… alright, that question. Did he want a bath? Not particularly… foxes weren’t bad swimmers, but not huge fans of the water in any case. Besides… he kept himself clean anyway. And it’d be rude to just use someone else’s bath! Especially a stranger like this! Making his decision, the boy gave a confident shake of his head to the lady – albeit only to go red in a hurry and turn away again. W-Well, he understood why she was wearing that armour all the time now… she probably got this response a lot.
However, then there was that second question as the lady finally gave him some room to breathe – err, was that an order? A threat? Or just her own concern? Shaking his head hurriedly, Kinu dared to turn back to her in order to give his response more clearly. He regretted it quickly, glancing away again; but he at least tried! Uh, was there some other way he could show his appreciation…? Hopping back onto the couch, the boy knelt on the seat and leaned his head on the arm; trying to look somewhat at home… but mostly just looking like a shy cat instead. And, glancing aside and blushing yet again… w-why was she wearing just a towel still?! He felt a bit creepy just hanging around her in that state… awawawa, his heart was jumping just thinking about her!

Noticing that he was still unresponsive and shy, Godfreya smiled amusingly, as if wanting to tease Kinu more. However, she soon realized she was still in towels. She turned around and went inside her room to change clothes. Of course, that's something a Servant shouldn't be needed to do. But, Godfreya would feel awkward if she felt as if not trying things as it was supposed to be as a normal person. She missed it in a sense even though this world was so different from what she remembered.
"I'll just go pick some change of clothes. Wait here."
She said cheerfully leaving the young boy alone. But, it wasn't long before she came back and with a rejuvenated enthusiasm.
"Kinu, was it? Do you want to go outside and play or do you want to stay inside and have some fun?"
She offered with sparkling eyes. There was some meaning behind those yes that not even Godfreya could fathom. She approached Kinu and placed her head just across his and if he would look up, they'd be inches apart. She was waiting for his response eagerly, as if like a curious little girl.

Godfreya’s idle amusement regarding poor Kinu’s flustered demeanour just made the homunculus feel worse – w-was he doing something wrong?! Well, he was obviously doing something wrong, if Kagero was making such a cheer about it! She was a demon, not just a spirit! Aagh! Thankfully, the Servant would finally give his heart some rest and go to finally get changed… the fox-boy was too traumatised to think too hard about Godfreya’s new outfit though; currently just burying his face into the couch he was sat upon. He was nice and safe with his head in the ground. It was just like old times. Or, maybe it was just fitting for a fox to dive into a hole?
Taking a moment to regain his composure upon being given her question, Kinu would oh-so gently raise his head; like a curious child – only to be met with the blonde heroine’s face merely inches from his. He wasn’t ready for this! Even this amount of social contact was too much for him… in but a second, the boy would just about launch from his position and zip around to the other side of the couch; his meek instincts making him seem far more mortified than he had any right to. Hopefully the lady wouldn’t take this the wrong way…
In any case, Kinu was in no state to give a response to her question… at least, if he could in the first place! Still, if left alone for a moment the boy would hesitantly peek around the side of the couch again, feeling a bit bad for his distress over the whole situation – he didn’t mean to be so rude! He ought to be more considerate… especially towards someone quite capable of crushing him one blow or whatever else Servants were supposed to do. Head leant down in shame and submission, the boy would awkwardly try and address Godfreya again; clearly apologetic… or maybe just sad on the whole.

After changing her clothes to a pink short skirt, just knee length, and a peach loose shirt with no back. Because of the loose back, her triangle top underwear can be slightly seen. A rose colored pair with bronze linings like glitters. She gazed at Kinu with those eyes filled with affection and life. To her, Kinu was looking pure and innocent while on the couch.
After she had asked the question, Godfreya was waiting for Kinu's response. However, it seemed he was unable to answer. With the thought that he may have been flustered by her advances, she giggled in amusement. She moved her feet and walked to the other side of the couch and sat there. She folded her legs and lifted them up, placing them on the couch, and embraced them with her delicate arms that held the sword for most of her life.
She rested her head on her ankles with her blonde hair flowing to her skin. She focused her eyes on Kinu. Her soft lips moved with a smile and spoke in an angelic tone, "Hey, you haven't spoken a word since we met. . .do you happen to hate me?"

Finally sitting up a bit upon hearing the dangerous question – along with that dangerous giggle – Kinu was met with a sight for sore eyes. W-Well, that’s the feeling he got, anyway… he didn’t really understand her choice in outfit. Thankfully he wasn’t privy to her choice in underwear from where he sat in front of her, but… her outfit didn’t leave that much to the imagination to begin with. That was sort of a Servant thing anyway, though… it was a bit weird. Tilting his head idly, the boy just seemed a bit confused by her dress.
However! He was swiftly reminded of her question! That was an extremely risky thing for her to say. It wasn’t the first time he’d heard it, too; but he knew that it was a grand warning… and one he could hardly handle, given he was mute. W-What was he supposed to do? For the moment, he just shook his head wildly; waving his arms in front of him in an effort to give a negative answer as best as he could. The poor boy looked like he was in a panic from the question, perhaps even terrified. His concern wasn’t just over worrying Godfreya, but also the whole ‘Servants can kill a normal person with just a touch’ thing… probably not best to get her angry!
Realising that he couldn’t do much apart from dig himself deeper at this point, the boy just buried his face into his scarf; his mouth and nose hidden by the fabric while his childish eyes watched the girl worriedly. Deciding to try and show his response in a different manner, the boy would slightly shuffle towards the lady across the couch… well, as best as he could without touching her. He couldn’t really do much else given her current balled-up pose, but… hopefully she’d understand the sentiment.

Godfreya was dumbfounded on Kinu's actions. Though a part of her thought it was extremely cute with her heart screaming, "Kyaaa!~", her mind seemed to unable to interpret his actions. She really wanted to hear his voice. The entire time they were together he has yet to utter a single word! Normally, one would feel rude about it but Godfreya took it as a matter of personality. Kinu was probably the softspoken type, one who was very shy of social interaction. In the modern world, Godfreya thought it was called being a NEET(?) or was it?
She giggled at the sight of Kinu trying to express himself. She reached out to his head with her hand and patted it.
"I understand. You can not speak due to either being shy about it or. . ."
Godfreya thought about it for a second and then followed it with a clueless answer, "you must have sore throat or something."
She said with a smile. But she really wanted to hear him talk! She can't help it if Kinu wouldn't want to express himself. Then, an idea sprung from her mind. It was a simple solution so both of them could understand each other.
Hurriedly, she jumped out of the sofa and went back to her room. She looked around for something. Some materials she thought was useless for her. If not for this instance, she would have thrown them out later.
Getting back to Kinu, she handed to him a pen and a notebook. It was a rather simple idea but she hoped with this Kinu could communicate with her. . .finally. But still, she'd force him to speak up later on.

The little homunculus jolted a little upon being patted, not quite expecting the affection in his troubled state, but after the initial terror it appeared to be a good sign. She’d finally gotten the hint that he couldn’t really express himself through words... although her reasoning wasn’t too ideal. It would seem Servants were not quite as omnipotent as they were said to be. Or, maybe this was just their weakness. Or perhaps… Miss ‘Nee-san’ was just especially bad at this sort of thing. Still, she seemed happy, so Kinu was probably safe for the time-being. Probably.
The lady’s sudden disappearance got him nervous again, admittedly; but she did soon return – and with a bastion of hope for the mute. In a way, Kinu loathed the presence of the pen and paper; preferring to express himself physically rather than via writing… it felt a bit like cheating, and it forced him to actually think about how he would communicate rather than doing things naturally like everyone else. Plus there was the issue of literacy… not that Kinu couldn’t write, but Kagero’s influence sometimes made it hard to juggle between English print and Japanese calligraphy; both stapled into his mind thanks to the soul’s presence. The boy would give Godfreya a silent nod in return for the items, before starting to scrabble away hastily…
But, within only a few seconds, Kinu would promptly display his words on the notebook; standing up on the couch to match Godfreya’s eyeline… well, at least try to, anyway. ‘Thank you!’ was proudly displayed, followed beneath it by ‘Very shy, cannot speak’ – perhaps not the most ideal way to get across his meaning, but… she was smart enough to keep up, right? It had to be said, though; Kinu’s writing was quite flowery for English; not to mention a bit effeminate in style… while no doubt due to the efforts of a certain fox, hopefully Godfreya wasn’t quite modern enough to think too much of it.
Pleased to have bridged the gap between them, the homunculus emerged somewhat from his scarf, looking a little more confident – although there wasn’t a hint of a smile just yet. Instead, Kinu watched Godfreya curiously for her response to his note… perhaps a bit too curiously as he leaned forward; gently easing his heels off of the couch in order to try a bit harder to match her height. But, with the expected dexterity from a homunculus, a slight shift back from the cushion below him was enough to send the poor thing toppling forward… and straight onto his similarly unlucky companion/kidnapper; giving a resounding squeak of surprise.
