Mission specific equipment
These tools are provided to Masters before the start of certain missions. Masters receive training on how to set them up, since Servants are barred from using them due to their nature as spirits.
Name: Prana Detection Goggles, PDG for short.
Image:
Description These goggles give the wearer the capability to perceive the magical energy around them. Most magi already possess this ability naturally, but what the goggles allow completely surpasses that. They work in a similar style to thermal imaging, but can be calibrated to perceive magical energy and phenomenons of a specific origin or type.
The goggles project a HUD display with the tracked elements appearing as glowing particle. Because of this, when the goal is to locate a particularly complicated target, these goggles can prove more effective than even Caster class Servants.
A lot of magi tend to feel uncomfortable wearing such a technological piece of equipment.
Uses: Mostly tracking missions and reconnaissance
Name: Kakudmi Boxes, Or K-Box
Image:
Description : Cubic containers that are sealed with powerful magic circles. They come in all sizes, from pocket-sized ones to those large enough to fit an entire house, and they can be opened by touching any one of the circular lids. The main purpose of these is to transport any material placed inside back to the present, and currently it's only way to reliably do so. The cubes themselves fade away when their holder wants them to, along with any materials inside. It's worth mentioning that under no circumstances should sentient life be allowed to travel to the present using one of these. The consequences can be disastrous.
Uses: Item gathering.
Name: Diviner Probe
Image:
Description : A human-sized device that perfectly records the environment it's placed in. Energy fluctuations, radiation, and thousands of other variables are analyzed and transmitted to Chaldea. It even possesses the capacity to perceive the remaining thoughts and emotions that linger around areas. It's rather heavy, and while setting it up is rather simple, the process by which it gathers data can take from several minutes to around an hour.
Uses: Information gathering.
Name: Venetia Gear
Image:
Description : After an extensive analysis of the cursed water of the Fuyuki River, the research department of Chaldea was able to create the first model of this apparel, an armor meant to allow the wearer to conduct underwater exploration. Any resemblance to a certain Renaissance project is, of course, a coincidence.
It's outer-shell is actually reinforced gold plating, melted out and taken from a 600 year old golden Buddha statue. This, along with the unique construction grants the armor the ability to function in highly corrosive environments, a special form of magical protection that can endure even the strongest curses. The suit itself has advanced robotic components to assist it's use, and despite it being very heavy the wearer will be able to move in it easily. In fact, the suit's joints are capable of exerting strength far above human standards, which would number around D Rank in Servant stats. These same joints however, operate slowly, making most reactions slower and mechanical.
When completely submerged in the cursed waters on the Mion River, the suits would last 3 hours, both in battery-life and in oxygen reserves. Use of the increased mechanical strength will deplete this far faster, but...battle should be avoided at all cost. There's only one suit for the entirety of Chaldea, and the resources used to build it are very hard to come by, meaning it will only be deployed when utterly necessary. The armor also holds spiritual properties possessing the capacity for physical interaction with spirits, and contains equipment that allows low range telepathic communication with team-mates.
Uses: Underwater exploration. Combat enhancement?
