NAME: Anton Artzen
[PTabbedContent][PTab=APPEARANCE]
Moderately noticeable, Anton is a young adult of seemingly Eastern European descent. He has a somewhat pale complexion, somewhat redden whenever he goes out. He has light ashen hair of medium length. He stands around at five feet eight inches, Anton has green eyes and generally squints when not wearing his glasses.
Anton is slightly casual in terms of outfits, though it’s more a case that he can’t afford anything more than casual clothing. He either uses jeans or short pants, regular t-shirts or has a grey jacket. Anton does have a fancy suit, though by an aristocrat standard it’s a poor man’s suit. He treasures the lab coat Chaldea provided him. Anton also packed in some winter clothing and just in case has a pair of swimming shorts and a sweatshirt.

[PTab=PERSONALITY]
Anton can be called as being somewhat serious-minded but surprisingly talkative or rather someone that is used to being around sociable people and responds to sociable people in a collected manner. Anton though not as competitive as his sister and far more rational than her, Anton doesn’t like losing to people or drawing the short end of the stick. So whether he is in an argument or a conflict he can be called proactive and engaged but rarely becomes hot-headed.
Anton has an intellectual disposition and he doesn’t like doing things needlessly or wasting energy, time and effort which incidentally makes him a cheap and frugal. He is also prudent and somewhat cautious by nature, hating when things spin out of control rapidly. Anton is regardless is perceptive, cunning and has a voracious intellect but more importantly he is someone who can concentrate, observe and comprehend to an insane level when he puts his mind into it, though he can be devious he isn’t the type that chooses the most efficient method or the most practical one if he feels it’s unreasonably cruel or inhumane and these trait causes conflict between his desires and how to achieve them.
If you know Anton’s sister or his mother, then you’d be able to say tell he is not quite like them. Unlike his mother he is not a relaxed-wordly person and unlike his sister he is not the type of person that is impulsive by default. Anton has a calm attitude that can sometime cross to being overly-serious, however, he is not the type of person that is described as uptight but with more with a passive behavior.
Anton loves magecraft and he wants to restart the Artzen line, yet he has an outsider’s perspective on what it really means to be a magus. Anton is smart and he knows it but he is also insecure and not someone who is immediately decisive. Anton though he might make for a successful Clock Tower magi he is also inexperienced and possesses a naïve admiration for the life of a magus. He sees the ideals but has not experienced the realities. So when he experiences those realities it’s common for him to get angered since from his point of view they are unreasonable and unjustified no matter the purpose.
His reason for being in Chaldea was more or less, he needed resources and a place to set up his workshop, also he took the job for his mother as a researcher when she refused.

[PTab=HISTORY]
The second son of Malia Artzen, belonging to the infamous Artzen bloodline. A line of unsuccessful magi that despite all odds never seems to quite to go extinct and seems to resurface, from time to time.
Anton is the son of the second head of the third resurgence of the line, because he was born as male his family sorcery trait; the Nature’s Bounty is not expressed and therefore dormant. Anton’s conception wasn’t a really pleasant one. His mother a freelancer after having Anton’s older sister Seluna, who was born as an average one, drew the attention of a powerful magus of a decaying bloodline, who kidnapped Seluna and used her as a bargain chip to have Malia bear his heir in hopes that their child would revive his waning line.
Anton was the offspring of that forced relationship. However, Malia was unwilling to give up her unborn son and her daughter and instead through guile managed to rescue Seluna and escaped with Anton in her belly.
Anton was raised on the run with his sister by his mother, they moved from country to country. Unlike his sister, Anton wasn't that troubled by constantly being on the move. Like his sister he was also educated in magecraft but unlike her he took a shine to it and every tome and with every chance he could talk to her mother's acquaintances made Anton idolize the life of a magus. When Anton was in his late teens, Anton briefly lived with an old magus named Gregori Pavel, while Malia prepared their next home. Under Gregori, Anton learned more than he could hope but he met his first and the condition that would challenge him for the rest of his life.
Anton's elemental affinity and the attribute of his magic circuits were special, unique even but plainly speaking completely useless for most thaumaturgical systems. Anton has the special trait of producing nothingness. Though with the help of his mother and other acquaintances he overcame the particular disadvantages and found a niche for a very specialized type of magecraft.
Years later Anton became independent and traveled on his own, he attempted to enter a inheritance competition of a very powerful family, though he got turned away. Eventually he moved back in with his mother, where she received a most peculiar job offer, one that he took for her and rather surprisingly Chaldea did not scorn his otherwise useless style of magecraft.

[PTab=MAGECRAFT]
An unusual magus, Anton is one of the many cases of magi that are not quite the norm for the Clock Tower but his peculiar set of skills were deemed worthwhile for Chaldea's purposes. Though in the end Anton is better suited as a researcher and theorist for the organization, he has enough practical experience that when no one is available he can function as a provisional master, reluctantly.
Anton is an specialist in recreation and attuning elements. He takes concepts and uses ether clumps to create cheap knock offs. Anton's magecraft is generally dismissed as useless and ninety-nine out of a hundred situations it would be.

Quality: C+
[/ul]
Elemental affinity: Nothingness
Attribute: Revision-Attument
Sorcery trait: Nature’s Bounty :: A trait that appears on the Artzen bloodline, passive on the males and active on the females. Described as a chaotic trait that prevents uniformity or similarities to be shared between mother and their child. Nature's Bounty can be described as a randomizer in the Artzen's magical potential, akin to a jackpot machine. Children born from a female Artzen will always have a completely different set of values as mages than their mother. These random mutations include from adding, removing or changing the quantity or quality of magic circuits, elemental affinities, magical attributes, the origin or manifestations of psychic abilities. Essentially the Artzen's Sorcery Trait has the same capacity of creating anything between a first class magi to a child with abnormal abilities to a completely normal human being or a fourth rate magi. Since Anton is a male the Sorcery Trait is passive, he also is completely different from his mother and sister in value as a magus.
Model Name: Lyra Gamma -Vel Mod
Spell Slots: 3
Max Rank: D
Description/Extra effects: The first of the Lyra-types. A model focused on quantity of spells over quality. Favored by mages with a lot of utility spells.
It has been modified with the remains of a high level artifact, a divine spear, that held the ability to transform life, rather than end it. It allows the user to reshape living things on contact, by spending some prana and thinking of the form wanted. This can be used for both healing practices, or to reshape oneself or others to forms better fit the circumstances. Human bodies will fight against these alterations so after an hour, all "irregular" attributes will be reversed. Wounds healed by the formal wear aren't reversed.

Name: Healing magecraft
Description: Though not as talented as his mother in the field of healing magecraft, Anton is capable of curing deep wounds in the matter of minutes. Things like superficial wounds or scratches can be mended in an instant, while things like deep cuts or broken bones can take several minutes to be healed and critical damage can be stabilized but would require actual treatment.
Name: Formalcraft
Description: The heart and soul of Anton’s magecraft, he uses rituals, sacrifices and knowledge as the basis for his spells. Through a combination with alchemy he is able to use his elemental affinity and attribute as a benefit rather than a handy-cap. More importantly it allows Anton to work with and convert elements.
Name:Heal
Spell Rank:E-C
Effects:Closes and mends wounds, repairs tissue and so forth. The greater the damage the more magical energy is needed to be poured into the spell.
Name:False
Spell Rank:E-
Effects:A useless spell, it only works to create ether clumps. Manifesting nothing other than a seemingly useless magical clay.
Name: Concepti Commuto Grimoire
Spell Rank: E-C
Effects: Anton’s most prized possession, his whole dedication to magecraft has been poured into this grimoire. Even then it can only be called a makeshift, poor quality tome for now at least. It seems to function as a quasi-thaumaturgical crest that contains a strange assortment of ever changing spells. That after several uses burn out the pages of the tome.
The true purpose of the tome is not to contain spells and record spells as a quasi-thaumaturgical crest but rather as a storage for concepts, elemental representations to be manifested with the help Ether Clumps. In essence the true usage of Concepti Commuto Grimoire is not for casting pre-arranged spells but to combine, arrange and release something that functions like a spell. It’s not as great as it sounds however, because the entire grimoire is crafted from poor materials it can only store and release concepts and elements so many times. Also because they are borrowed, copied from the original and made true with nothingness (ether clumps), they are always far far inferior to the original.
Regardless the way the tome functions is that with the stored components, Anton is able to arrange the elements and concepts and release them with an incantation of three counts. Anton can craft simple spells by combining just two sources or he can make more complex spells by combining more concepts and elements, the "spells" going up on rank.
