| [PTabbedContent=Name: Edward IV Class: Rider][PTab=Status] Parameters STR | | C+ | END | | C | AGI | | B | MNA | | C | LCK | | B | NP | | B |
Personal Skills Skill 01 | Military Tactics: C+ | Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. |
Skill 02 | Innocent Monster: D | An attribute possessed by Servants whose history and existence have been distorted by the monstrous reputations they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter. As a consequence, the Servant's abilities and appearance have been rendered to conform to the specifications of their legend. Incidentally, this personal skill cannot be removed. |
Skill 03 | Prana Burst (Flame): C | A version of Mana Burst that infuses weapons with Magical Energy that imparts a flame effect. Edward's close association with flames of destruction in life has granted him a weaker version of this skill in part due to the effects of Innocent Monster. |
Class Skills Skill 01 | Magic Resistance: C | Cancels spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. |
Skill 02 | Riding: A | All creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast rank can be used as mounts. |
Noble Phantasm | The Black Chevauchee: Let the World Burn | Rank: B+ | Type: Anti-Army/Anti-Territory | The first ability of this noble phantasm is a passive one. Crystalizing Edward’s infamous scorched earth tactics, it allows him to ruin the very land itself. Everywhere and anywhere that Edward travels, the leylines within the Earth become warped, unstable, and unusable, severing the naturally occurring source of magical energy completely and preventing anyone from tapping into them as an external source of energy until he has first been defeated.
The true trump card of this Noble Phantasm is a powerful trampling attack performed using Rider’s flaming steed. The damage of the charge is primarily determined by the momentum that has been built up. The longer the charge, the more flames will build in Rider’s wake until he inevitably bears down upon his opponent with a literal tidal wave of fire at his back to devour them. Its speed is also very significant, reducing a distance of one hundred meters to zero the instant after its activation, almost matching the speed with which Excalibur is activated. During the course of the charge, Rider’s Mana Burst (Flame) skill receives a rank up and there is a high percentage of his opponent being inflicted with the detrimental status effect of Intimidation.

| The Shield of Peace: Ich Dien | Rank: B | Type: Anti-Unit | Originally used as a shield in jousting competitions, this black halter shield emblazoned with three white ostrich feathers became Edward’s personal symbol and one of his longest lasting signatures in history. Dubbed “The Shield of Peace”, it is Edward’s most trusted Noble Phantasm.
In addition to being a high quality defensive tool capable of withstanding blows from Noble Phantasms, the shield has a passive effect of boosting Edward’s Magic Resistance by one rank. Upon activation, one of the three ostrich feathers on the shield will smolder and blacken. At this time, Edward is able to impose a royal decree of nonaggression in the immediate area, instantly compelling everyone within earshot to cease fighting.
While it is possible to resist the compulsion towards pacifism, the first party to do so will be inflicted with a powerful curse. Specifically, it inflicts all the pain and destruction that Edward reportedly inflicted upon the people of France during the 100 Years War. While it is obviously not as potent as the curse utilized by All the World’s Evil to the point of being decidedly fatal, it will inflict crippling, agonizing pain upon the opponent who will continue to suffer a rank down to their physical parameters until Rider rescinds the curse, he is killed. Due to the limited number of feathers, the shield can only be activated three times in total. Upon using them of all, the passive effect of boosting his Magic Resistance is lost. |

Appearance A tall young man in the prime of life, Edward presents an air of royal dignity befitting someone of his station. His frame is well-built and sturdy, possessing lean muscle that was gradually earned from years on the battlefield. Of course, along with muscles came numerous scars dotting his body, most notably being a mark left by a wayward arrow in his left thigh and a nasty star-shaped memento from a jousting lance on his right shoulder. His facial features are smooth and narrow, coming just shy of appearing fragile. His eyes in particular are a particularly striking brown in contrast to his pale skin. However, their beauty is marred by worry lines giving the impression that he is always tired. His hair is haphazardly kept in something of a “mop top” with heavy bangs on the right side of his face and numerous cowlicks that persist despite his best efforts. In combat, Edward wears a custom set of black armor, a relatively rare color in his day which in part led to his more famous, posthumous moniker. The lowest layer is simple enough, consisting of dark grey cotton shirt and leggings. Over them is a full set of chainmail, covering his upper and lower body. Next comes a full set of blackened plate armor offering the highest quality of protection while still allowing nearly a full range of motion. Covering his head is a matching helm with a built in folding visor and ornamental crown. Finally, Edward adorns himself in a crimson mantle and an embroidered tunic of red and blue held in place by a brown leather belt. Though it is not a Noble Phantasm, Edward is summoned as a Rider class servant with a spiritual weapon in the form of a long sword with a leather-wrapped hilt and gold cross guard. Kept razor sharp, it is a fine weapon capable of trading blows with true Noble Phantasms for a time. Personality At his core, Edward IV is a man of honor. In life, he wished for nothing greater than to bring a swift and decisive end to the war which was consuming his country. However, in order to reach this goal, Edward found himself resorting to progressively more brutal tactics to lay utter waste to the French countryside and in doing so, became known as one of the most merciless commanders in English history. In truth, Edward detested every moment in which he was forced to play the brute but within the context of the war, he could see no other way to ensure English victory and the prosperity of his own people. And so, little by little, he buried his emotions beneath a heart and mind of steel and fire. Summoned into the modern era, Edward’s wish is for the opportunity to battle with chivalry and honor. However, Edward is still a realist and given proper motivation (or when pushed far enough into a corner) he will once again resort to the persona of the Black Prince. Additionally, as time drags on, the effects of Innocent Monster will gradually grow stronger, pushing him into the more brutal personality of doing anything necessary for victory that history has placed upon him. Finally, despite his appreciation for chivalry, Edward cannot deny his inclination towards incitement and verbal jabs. The Black Prince simply cannot help but delve into biting sarcasm as a knee jerk response along with healthy doses of dry wit. How much of this stems from his natural persona and how much of it is due to the effects of Innocent Monster is up for debate. Regardless of the exact cause, in the end, his more positive traits tend to shine through in the form of words of wisdom hidden beneath the jovial insults and jabs.
Miscellaneous Likes: Quiet county sides, Dislikes: The French, liars, his own tactics Natural Enemy: Joan of Arc Hobbies: Wood burning, jousting
