Still, was there anything to do? A valid question given by the odd man. "Pretty much. Unless you have a long term project to keep you busy then there isn't much to do." Atlas frowned. This place was boring as boring could be, to the point where she actively looked forward to the missions because it was at least something that she could do. Part of her had been looking for a long term project, maybe an apprentice or something. But most anyone here was either unteachable, or already a powerful Caster. She sighed. Until she had something to aim for, bugging people was the most she could do, but it was at least entertaining! Which reminded her, the gift was about done. The blonde brought her hands back out as two items were finished being crafted. They were even high quality! Atlas presented the presents to the Count; two katanas. One with a blood red hilt and a black serrated blade, and the other with a black hilt and a blood red serrated blade. Both crossguards were spiked. "For you. It's quite fitting with your wardrobe, I would say." And then, she called two more items to her hands and held them out; water bottles. And then there was the French girl. What to do with her? Hm. Atlas could think of something, maybe get one over on her. Leaning over to her, she smirked a bit. "And just what are you up to?" She could switch herself back at will, so now she just needed to wait for the right moment~ But considering how the French girl acted with Gilgamesh, it wouldn't be that hard to get into her bed. tags: Edmond , La Maupin notes: the katanas work too!

[/b] She said. “The Servants especially. There’s all kinds. Americans, Orientals – it’s exhilarating. Getting to know them has kept me plenty amused.”
Though of course her heart was still with the French. No amount of pretty Orientals could change that. She smiled lightly and turned to look at the blonde, who had addressed her. There was a pause as she looked her over one more time, trying to place those features. Did she look like Gilgamesh? No, he was a bit scruffier. Then who? Perhaps that Greek. How fitting, as she appeared to be trying to sabotage this encounter… “Well at this very moment I’m delighting in having met a fellow Frenchman.” She explained. “And you, dear? Do you just wander about handing swords to strangers? If so, I expect one. However, be aware – I’m not at all interested in those skinny Asian blades. Where I come from, we expect real quality. Surely you understand.”[/ul][/ul]

"Long term projects, hmm? Perhaps I should come up with something of that sort. I was never one to live in idleness, I'm afraid." The blond woman's words were blunt and to the point, and Edmond appreciated that.
However, it seemed Julie was less than ecstatic with the interruption, and he laughs, holding up a hand. "You seem quite knowledgeable about this place, Lady Maupin. And more importantly, the people within it. If it wouldn't be a bother, I would be greatly appreciative if you could show me around sometime. It would give us more time to get acquainted as well."
As Edmond receives the gift from the blond woman, he glances down at the weapons with a quizzical expression. The swords were of obviously excellent quality...but they were clearly meant to be wielded in a matter entirely different than the Western and Middle Eastern weapons he did have knowledge of. It was similar to a scimitar slightly, and yet totally different at the same time.
"You shouldn't have." Edmond pauses a beat before he smiles and continues. "Thank you, though I have more experience with Western blades. If I ever deserve another gift from you, a rapier would be highly appreciated." He resolved to find someone more worthy of he fine blades than he...theyd be simple cutting and bludgeoning tools in his hands.

Atlas tilted her head and gave a smile that seemed to be sparkling as the man took the blades. Maybe it went over his head, but that wasn't an issue. She really did find it funny just how well they actually fit with his entire theme. She wondered if this Count would go around and actually use them now. She hoped he would, it'd really complete the look. Ooh, could he teleport? She'd have to see if he could teleport. Merely taking the weapons just opened a world of new possibilities to Atlas. Maybe she would have a new project to work with for a while! At least until she got bored and moved on to do something else. Ooooh but the French girl was getting just a teensy bit demanding~ Oh she wanted swords of her own? Atlas could give her that. "As you wish, dear~ Just give me a moment. Going with your attire and that luxurious pink hair... Oh I have just the thing!" Atlas chimed as she held out her hands, the magic forming in her hands and slowly, but surely crafting something solid. The blades began to take shape, followed by the colors, and what appeared in Atlas's hands when it was all said and done could be considered... surprising. And maybe just a little bit off kilter, and possibly offensive, if not hilariously fitting for Julie. Two swords, pink and black. They were completely identical otherwise. The only catch was that the tip, while definitely sharp, had indents at the sides to make it look rounder and larger than the actual blade. Not only that, but the crossguards for these weapons? Two spheres joined together. Yeah, it was probably just Atlas being Atlas. "Here you are, you'll have to tell me how they work for you~" Atlas handed them to Julie, giving the sweetest smile she could possibly give. A gift was a gift, after all~ tags: Edmond , La Maupin notes: well she wanted thicker

[/b] And besides, she really had been missing home lately. Satisfied at the thought of that, she turned back to the other young lady, who did appear to be granting her request for a sword. In the end she gave her two, which seemed sort of excessive, but she wasn’t one to turn down a gift. This went double when the gift looked as delightfully silly as these things did. She grinned, turning them around in her hands. It was amazing at this point that people didn’t know any better than to give her a reason to be crude… “Oh that’s lovely!” She exclaimed, hardly able to keep from laughing. “I’ve got at least six people just off the top of my head that I’d just love to beat senseless with a pair of cocks!”That Greek, for starters. She couldn’t forgive something as hideously offensive as cockblocking. What better punishment was there for that than a beating with a couple of completely unsubtle penis swords? The boy certainly looked like he needed it. And speaking of that, now she was sure – the girl definitely resembled the Greek more than she resembled any of the other blondes that Julie had come across so far. They were either related or extremely generic. “So, Miss. You and that Greek with the globe and the ego. What are you, a sister? A cousin? You’re almost certainly related.” She began. “Sometimes I swear it’s like Chaldea is trying for some sort of family reunion. Barely anyone’s here alone. I confess though, that worries me. I don’t think I’d like to see my father wandering around these halls. Things would get very strange very quickly!”[/ul]
