"Umu! What a fantastic structure!" Nero proclaimed boldly, flourishing her arms as she spun about, frolicking her way down the hallways of the Chaldea Security Building. Summoned to this place very recently, it was her first time exploring the expansive complex, a truly fascinating sight unlike anything she had ever seen in her lifetime. Her curiosity seemed boundless here, peeking into every nook and cranny, observing each and every flashing panel, and, unfortunately, pestering the Chaldea personnel while they were trying to complete their jobs. Such technology used to be constrained to the realm of her imagination, but to see it solid and real was a great thrill for her childish heart. "This is a place worthy of an Emperor! ...Though it's still not as great as my palace back in Rome."
Coming to a stop near a window, she peered out into the frozen mountainous terrain that surrounded the base. The beauty of the pure white landscape came at a sharp contract to its obvious inhospitable conditions. Though summoned with the knowledge of the modern world through the grace of the Holy Grail, Nero longed to see and experience it all for herself. The wild curiosity of the self-styled artist couldn't be sated by mere books and pictures, she need to be there.
Alas, she knew she had been summoned here for a reason. A reason she could not just let go.
"I would be no Emperor without the people, and thus it is my duty to protect them! No matter what evil dares to try destroy my world, I, Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, will stop it for the sake of you all! Worry not, Roman citizens, and rejoice!"
...so she announced to no one in particular, drawing in a few awkward glances from the Chaldea staff passing by.

Turns out, this had been a bit of a bad idea after all.
Now, Astolfo was not unfamiliar in the least with bad ideas, but this was a bit high on that scale – yes, it had come with the promise of glory, but it almost seemed a bit unfair at this point. That cute lady with the glasses and the coat had seemed so friendly, and they’d really hit it off for sure; but maybe she didn’t like him so much if she’d send him on this quest. Of course, she had assured him that he’d be met with a ‘wonderful surprise’ if he managed it, and that wink and lick of her lips had made it obvious what was on her mind… it had to be chocolate; absolutely. Now maybe chocolate hadn’t been worth all this trouble, but his reputation was just so important, too. And, well, he wasn’t so good at the whole patience thing either, so… here he was.
Standing in a pair of pink denim shorts and a thin white t-shirt, the poor pink-haired paladin shuddered with cold – knee deep in snow, with not a single layer between himself and the frost. Sometimes he heard that Servants weren’t supposed to feel cold and stuff like that, but c’mon. It was freezing out here! Would he die like this? Probably not! Nah, of course not! Ooh, but he was feeling a bit queasy… trudging ever forward, Astolfo prayed to find the answer to his quest… or a door. Maybe a spare coat? A hug? Anything, please?
However, the voice of an angel shattered his misery; leaving him scrambling to find its source – and yes, there, through a window; there was an actual soul! His saviour, no doubt! Her looks left a bit to be desired, and her voice made him feel a little bit more ill, but her words! Oh, her words! So romantic! Trying desperately to get her attention, Astolfo banged wildly on the window; looking like he might just burst into tears in his current state. Although no doubt extremely muffled by the wild weather outdoors and the giant steel wall between them, he’d cry out all the same - "Miss Emperor, your people need you! Right now! Please! Help! And don’t shout too much again if possible!”
Pitifully plastering his hands and face across the window like an impoverished orphan against the window of a sweets shop, Astolfo would gradually slide down the glass with an expression of despair painted all over his features… aah, the wind was picking up again! He was gonna die out here! "Nooo! Please stop weather, it’s evil, Miss Emperor! Otherwise your cutest subject is doomed!”

Nero stood smugly with her hands on her hips, completely oblivious to whatever weird looks the employees were giving her. The lack of cheering and applause was noticeable, however. "Hm, could it be they are in awe of my beauty? Or perhaps cowed by the presence of such a great emperor? That must surely be it!"
"Do not hold back, my people! Proudly show you joy and- huh?"
Interrupted by a strange tapping noise behind her, Nero glanced over her shoulder to see a cute, pink-haired (and rather underdressed) girl pounding desperately on the window from the outside. She couldn't quite make out what the girl was saying, but it was clear she was in distress. Eyes bulging in surprise, the red-clad Emperor spun around properly to face the window.
"Worry not! Your Emperor shall rescue you! AESTUS ESTUS!"
Nero's weapon of choice, the long, beautiful crimson sword clad in flames, the Aestus Estus, materialized instantly in her hand. The nearby workers instantly realized what was about to happen, swiftly dropping whatever they were doing and fleeing.
"Please stand back, young girl!"
Firmly grasping her blade with both hands, Nero made a flourishing sweep over to her side, right before swinging it with all her might at the facility window, intending to break it wide open!

Unsurprisingly, the soon-to-be Servant popsicle outside was overjoyed to find his pleas were met with a response; attempting to jump for joy over the occasion – only to not even leave the ground as he was already up to his knees with new snow. But, his smile would show his glee all the same… though it quickly vanished when that sword appeared. This was awfully reminiscent of Roland’s usual solution for any obstacle, and one that had left Astolfo with multiple broken bones on previous occasions. Now, that wasn’t always so bad, because there were few things a cute girl or guy could appreciate more than someone injured whom they could fuss over; but at the moment Astolfo wasn’t super keen on losing a limb. Still, at least her sword was on fire! It’d be cauterised in no time!
Waving his hands worriedly, the boy paled as his unlikely saviour raised her sword with such admirable enthusiasm – had he been on the other side of the blade, he probably would have been very excited by all this, but at the moment he had more pressing concerns (for once). ”Pl##se ###nd b###, ###ng #irl!” said the girl, muffled by the snow and steel – and quickly earning a scowl from her supposed damsel in distress. "I’m not the wrong girl! I’m the right girl! I’m always the right girl!” shouted back the pink-haired paladin, attempting to stomp his foot – but once again being utterly unable to move his leg. Maybe it wasn’t even the thick snow; maybe they were just frozen solid now…
But Astolfo’s objections were promptly cut off by the Emperor’s sweep of her sword – with a cacophony of ripping metal and glass, the blazing blade would cut a thick swathe though the wall and window… and Astolfo. While now finally freed from the snow around his feet, the poor knight would sail through the air in a beautiful crescent before landing head first into another clump of snow; his clothing now thoroughly drenched from the melted snow… while his hair was somewhat burnt. "…adding injury to insult, huh…” grumbled Astolfo, or as best he could while having his head up to his shoulders buried in snow.

"Ah. I TOLD YOU TO STAND BACK!"
Nero shouted with distress as she charged through the new door she just made, slicing a path through the mire of snow with her burning blade. The facility breach had set off a number of alarms and left staff scrambling about, but that barely even registered upon Nero's consciousness. Even with her somewhat revealing garments, the freezing temperatures didn't phase the Roman Emperor at all while she made her way towards Astolfo's ungraceful landing site. Dispelling her blade as she drew close, Nero reached down and grabbed the pink-haired girl under both armpits before hoisting her upright and looking her up and down.
"Umu! Thankfully it does not appear serious! I shall take you back to Chaldea where you can rest and recover!"
Either completely ignoring or completely oblivious to the disgruntled look on Astolfo's face, Nero slung the girl over her shoulder without a hint of delicacy. With the pink-haired Rider in a fireman's carry, the Roman Emperor marched back towards the structure's new entryway.
"Clear the path! We have an injured girl here!"

 So there was another shitstorm brewing at Chaldea. Then again, when was there not a shitstorm brewing at Chaldea? It was always something. He had heard the alarms, found out where it was coming from, and was already on his way there. Using Poseidon's Trident as a walking stick, he figured he'd probably need it to put out any fires that wound up sprouting up from this. There were always fires. There was never no fires. If no fires existed someone would have gone out of their way to make one. He was reaching the source though, he knew that. There was shouting and very obvious debris scattered about. What the fuck was it now? And then he saw the hole in the wall letting the cold in and potentially killing the humans, and the young woman screaming about an injured girl. He didn't know. He didn't care to know. He'd just learned to stop asking questions and just join in the madness of Chaldea. He really should have seen this coming. With a mass number of legendary heroes who were known for their own personal quirks and egos, chaos was inevitable. He really wondered what else he was expecting. The victim didn't seem that injured. So as Atlas was passing by the screaming woman, he reached out a hand over the red girl's shoulder, and a faint glow emanated to heal the victim not even bothering to slow down. He wouldn't call himself the greatest healer, and he definitely wouldn't even dream to compare himself to the King of Priests running around, but he wasn't that bad. Poseidon knew how to heal with his water, so some of his old man's teachings had passed on. Still, his job was done and whatever insanity that would take place was not his to question as he kept on walking.

Ending up somehow hauled over the tiny Servant’s shoulder, the chilled yet drenched paladin looked quite the mess as he ended up awkwardly carried down the halls… as if their positions didn’t make things look silly enough, their appearances surely made it a bizarre sight even amongst all the other odd Servants. But, in his own way, Astolfo was happy… being carried by a cute girl was nice! She was a bit young for his tastes, but still; you didn’t get pampered by an emperor every day. "Ahah… can’t you at least carry me bridal style…?” mumbled the boy happily, not seeming nearly as injured as he’d complained earlier all of a sudden.
Alas, his dreams of being fussed over by all kinds of attractive magus in the medical wing were dashed in a mere wave of a hand courtesy of a particular asshole – how dare he heal without a medical licence! Unfortunately, Astolfo was not quite so quick to realise the man’s intentions, though; reacting in the only way he knew how to being touched in such a manner. "Aaaaah! I’ve been groped! How could you?!? Hassling an injured maiden like that, what in the world is on your mind?!?” squealed the pink-haired hero, squirming wildly in Nero’s grip as he pointed at his newfound threat.
Simply rolling off of his unlikely saviour’s shoulders, Astolfo would hit the ground face-first with a charming thump before jumping straight onto his feet; looking something between outraged and flustered. "To think someone like that is a Servant… how horrible! I’ve been deflowered… my poor purity! I can’t be a good wife now… a-at least buy me dinner first, geez!” lamented the boy loudly; "You’re a beast of a man! What a monster! Wow, gosh! Awawawa, I wish I’d never been summoned… I’ll never get a date now! Oh, what a world! What did Astolfo do to deserve this? How could someone treat a paladin like that? Spitting in the eyes of the Lord; sacrilege of the highest order… unbelievable! I’m heartbroken! I can’t believe this!!!”
On a better day, Astolfo probably would have taken it all in stride – being hit on was nothing new to him. But, honesty… doing such a thing to someone who’d been hurt without even a word was just malicious. At the very least he should say ‘poor thing’ or something!

Carrying the cute 'girl' down the halls, Nero was humming a happy tune, at least until she was caught off-guard by a sudden outburst. Astolfo squirmed free of her grasp, face-planting himself before getting back up, acting in some kind of frantic state.
"Oh! I see you are already feeling better! Umu, perhaps my healing beauty has helped you recover! Eh? What's that? AN ENEMY SERVANT!?"
Most of Astolfo's babbling didn't really get through to her, not even registering the fact she called herself a paladin. Nero never really cared much for Christianity, nor had any concept of shame whatsoever, causing her to subconsciously zone out much of what was said past that one word. With no hesitation, Nero swiftly materialized her burning blade once more, spinning around and pointing it threateningly right at... who?
"Huh? I see no Servant?"
Indeed, Atlas's completely average-looking garb pretty much had him blend in with most of the other staff frantically rushing about to deal with the breach in the walls. Puzzled, Nero scanned the crowds curiously, before turning back to Astolfo.
"Small girl, what did the enemy look like ?"

Looking around hurriedly for some way to answer Nero’s question physically rather than having to try and explain himself; Astolfo’s efforts came up empty – all he could catch was his attacker’s disappearing back. "He was – uh, um, he’s a – you know!” blathered the paladin at first, failing to explain the picture in his mind in any hurry; awkwardly squirming on the spot to try and put words to the face. "Blonde! Jerk! Dumb suit! Looks like a waiter!” exclaimed the boy, his loud words echoing about the steel hall a little bit; "Face like a gangster. Belongs in jail! A bit like you? Uh, I mean the blonde bit… h-hang on, what are you even wearing?”
Halting his blabbering, Astolfo would lean down to examine his unlikely savour’s rather… bizarre choice in garb. "Oh! That’s really neat! Your dress is amazing!” chirped the Rider, giving Nero probably the least likely reaction to her dress so far; "You’ll have to let me borrow it sometime! It looks really cool!” continued the boy, only to have his curiosity get the better of him – he had to ask, he just had to. "Though, are those really your panties? They’re kind of bland, don’t you think? If you’re going to put them on show, shouldn’t you do something special?”
Shrugging to himself while still bent over to stare through Nero’s dress, Astolfo got more than a few questioning looks from the passers-by – though it wasn’t at if his reputation could sink any lower in the first place. "You really are amazing! I wanna see what your other fashion ideas are like. Promise to show me sometime, okay? You can borrow my clothes too, it’ll be fun!” blabbered on the paladin, beaming at his ‘new friend’… though that might just all be in his head.

Blonde was... not very distinctive among the numerous workers, nor was suit for that matter, given the collared white and black standard Chaldea uniform worn by just about all of them. Trying to keep track of someone through all that chaos was starting to give Nero a headache, or a slightly worse one than normal anyway, causing her to shut her eyes and shake her head around a bit before turning back to Astolfo. Naturally, as the topic suddenly shifted to her clothing, the threat of an enemy all but dissipated from her mind.
"Umu! So you like it, do you?" The red Saber gleamed at the compliment, puffing out her chest and putting her hands on her hips. "I designed and crafted it myself! I am an artist of many talents, after all! I will admit it is rare for someone to praise it so, you must truly have a great eye for beauty, young girl. I could easily make you one to fit you!" Assuming the headaches didn't get in the way at least.
Reaching down a bit, Nero grabbed the upper parts of her dress and flapped it around a bit.
"My panties, you say? Hmmm... perhaps. But there is still beauty in simplicity they say." Gently placing a hand on her own chest, the Emperor smiled smugly. "And it would not do if it drew too much attention away from elsewhere. Umu! A work of art should be appreciated as a whole!"
