NAME: Rin Tohsaka
[PTabbedContent][PTab=APPEARANCE]
Rin is a beautiful young women with features that exude a strong sense of both professionalism and mature beauty. She has aquamarine like eyes and dark brown hair that she frequently ties into twin tails with two black ribbons whilst she lets the rest hang loose. Later on, she chooses to wear her hair long and straight instead. She stands somewhat short at five foot seven, however she is far from being meek and boasts a light muscular build from her years of martial arts training and various sports she engaged in during her High School years. Even after all these years however, Rin's face has remained practically unchanged as well as her youthful spirit.
In her older age, Rin has taken on a new wardrobe completely that reflects her status as a professional Magus. Often she can be found in a white turtleneck with black dress pants and exquisite Sepia colored designer boots. While in the field or while doing work, she often wears a long red jacket and slick black leather gloves in addition to her casual wear. Though it was quite common in her teen years, Rin has seemingly lost her twin tails and instead opted for letting her long brunette hair go out straight instead.
She also has several other outfits to choose from like a yellow gown with cat patterns for personal days and bed, a couple red dresses with a golden trim for formal occasions, and a simple red bikini for beach or vacation days to name a few. During the winter, she dons a grey trench coat over her outfit as opposed to her usual red and she also wears an orange scarf as well.
She also dons several pieces of jewelry, less for the sake of fashion and more for means of casting magic at any time and place. These can vary from rings, bracelets, or any general gem embedded piece Rin can get her hands on. However the most prized possession of these is the Ruby pendant given to her by her father that also acted as the summoning catalyst for Archer, this is perhaps her only consistent piece of jewelry Rin wears among her collection.

[PTab=PERSONALITY]
Rin can be described as an extremely perceptive, keen, intelligent and competitive individuals who strives to impress those around her, no matter what the activity may be. Though she is admired by many for her legendary mage craft and high demeanor within society, few ever truly get close to her. Those who do however quickly come to discover that she is a rather bossy, loud, arrogant and demanding individual who often comes off as either hostile or dismissive of others. Despite this, she does have a caring side that shows on very rare occasions, especially towards those who have bothered to get close to her despite her seemingly pragmatic personality. Though this hidden kindness is often invisible to those that don’t know her that well and rather see her as a cold individual who mirrors the ideal magus. This caring disposition towards others can almost be seen as Rin’s human side that several other mages in her time seem to have lacked. Regardless, Rin makes a point of using whatever means possible in order to achieve her goals, though her actions more often than not contradict this claim completely.
As a child, Rin often looked up to Tokiomi as both an inspiration to become a better Magus as well as a loving father figure. In her eyes, her father was the ideal image of what the perfect mage looked like and that he was a face who could garner both respect and love from those around him. However, Rin never came to learn the negative aspects of her father’s personality and the cold-hearted demeanor that naturally came with being a mage, and his early death ensured that she would never see her father’s true colors with her own eyes. Nevertheless, it seems that Rin did inherit a few of his qualities on the exterior, but it could also be stated that she inherited her mother’s caring qualities as well.
Rin participated in the fifth Heaven’s Feel mostly for the sake of her father’s good name and the honor of the Tohsaka family as a whole. In reality, she had no intention of wishing from it and merely participated in the war while not knowing the intention behind it.
At heart, Rin is an extremely mischievous and troublesome woman who enjoys making trouble for men and other individuals who take things too seriously. Those whom she considers close often get the worse of this treatment and it can often lead to comical situations and mixed reactions from those she teases. She respects certain individuals however and makes it a point to show her utmost amount of decency towards them. She has very little patience for idiocy however and can often fly into a fit if her patience is tested for long enough. She has also been known to grow frustrated when things don’t go along with how she planned them.
She loves jewelry and mage-craft the same as she did in her youth, but she also continues to distain technology. However, over the past few years, she has become more comfortable around them despite preferring to use magic as a means to solve the majority of her problems.

[PTab=HISTORY]
Rin Tohsaka’s early life was one filled with both prestige and high expectations. Even from the time she was an infant, the Tohsaka clan as well as several other magus around the world had great expectations of the girl who had mastery over all five elements. Hence, the young Tohsaka girl was held under strict expectations from her father and famous magus, Tokiomi Tohsaka. Though many would scorn such a strict and unfulfilling lifestyle enforced by one’s own family, Rin took exception and happily embraced it instead. She looked up to her father and did everything in her power to ensure that the magic of the Tohsaka family had fallen into the right hands, this is perhaps what began to inflate her competitive personality.
She was also extremely close to her sister, Sakura Tohsaka at the time, and considered her to be one of her closest and only friends. It is for this reason that Rin felt an enormous amount of guilt when she was given away to the Matou family in order to continue their own magical bloodline due to it being in decline for decades. However, Rin couldn’t bring herself to hate her father for making this decision, instead she continued to embrace his decisions and go along with his plans.
By the time the fourth Holy Grail war had begun, Rin had already begun to master the basics of elemental magic as well as gain a general understanding of the Fuyuki Grail War system. She played a minor role in the majority of the events surrounding the fourth war and her father, and mostly stood by as a part time observer throughout the duration of the Heaven’s Feel. She did however aid in the rescue of the children who were to be killed at the hands of the serial Killer Ryuunosuke and the caster class servant, Gilles de Rais. However, despite her own limited participation in the 4th war, it took a large toll on her family and Rin’s life took a turn for the worst.
The death of her father and the hospitalization of her mother left Rin alone, with not even her sister to keep her company. Nobody knew what to do with the magical prodigy and she was left with Kirei Kotomine to act as her guardian out of her own father’s will. Though Kirei would often help nurture her magical and physical aptitudes, he was for the most part neglectful of her well-being and even managed to sell off most of the Tohsakas’ property at a relatively cheap value. Though somewhat depressed by the loss of her family and everything she had held dear to herself when she was a child, Rin refused to sink to the lowest depths and instead used her unfortunate circumstance as motivation to excel; and excel she did.
No matter what the sport, or the magical craft, or even the social situation the young heir of the Tohsaka line found herself in, she was almost certain to master it one way or the other. Using her family’s leftover patents as her only source of income, she continued where her father left off in pursuing the Grail and improving on the transfer of power the Tohsaka clan was so famous for. Meanwhile, she kept a somewhat close and protective eye over her sister sakura, only hoping one day they would be re-united and they would be free to pursue mage craft together. As the years went on however, this almost began to seem like a distant and unrealistic dream as opposed to a hopeful desire and she began to feel more pain and isolation within herself, though she did not show it.
Rin met Shirou Emiya when she observed him attempting to perform a high jump that would be impossible for someone of his size and build to perform. At first thinking him as an idiot for trying the same thing over and expecting that success would pique its way around the corner, she eventually came to admire his ever endearing spirit and this admiration would soon blossom into love. Though not being in contact with the red haired boy that much prior to the Fifth Fuyuki grail war, she kept her feelings for him and well concealed secret and merely treated him with the same cold and unforgiving attitude that she had shown everyone else. Despite this, she had the best intentions for doing it, hoping that he would only grow and learn from his mistakes as a result of her harsh treatments.
When the fifth war began, Rin was able to summon another aspect of this boy, the archer class servant with no real name to be remembered, EMIYA. Though their relationship was strained and full of conflict at first due to Archer’s own rebellious nature and Rin’s demanding leadership, the two eventually grew to understand each other and could be quite the force to be reckoned with over the course of the fifth Heaven’s Feel. She also grew much closer to Shirou along with his own servant, the saber class servant, Artoria Pendragon. The war took many shifts and turns: EMIYA switching sides to work with the caster Medea, Rin and Shirou confessing their love for each other, and even forming a master servant bond with Saber that was the strongest she had yet!
Following the events of the fifth war, Rin kept her promise to Archer to keep Shirou from ending up like his possible future self. She and him eventually graduated from Homurahara academy a year later and left to pursue their own goal at the Clock Tower in England. It was here that Rin would meet her tutor Lord El Melloi II (Waver Velvet), as well as her lifelong rival, Luviagelita Edelfelt. Though Rin and Shirou remained close at first, they eventually both came to accept the fact they had their own paths to follow and thus they split off for the time being, hopefully to reunite one day. When she had gotten the invitation from Chaldea many years later in order to help stop the end of the world with her expertise as both a Fuyuki Grail War survivor and a magus, she had to accept!
It seems that the day she and Shirou Emiya were to reunite was closer than she thought…

[PTab=MAGECRAFT]
Rin’s magic follows along with the Tohsaka family magecraft, transferal of power into other items, in this case it is gemstones. Using this method, Rin is Capable of storing up her magical energy into a variety of gems and can use each of them as a single use mystic code. Her mana generation as well as her funds have gone up over the years and now she is capable of making more of them in short periods of time (ten per mission most often). She has also inherited the magic of the Edelfelt family, Gandr, due to either family ties or the fact that the crest was stolen somewhere down the line.
Their craft was taught to them by the legendary Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg himself, though the Tohsaka at first seemed almost lackluster in the practice of magecraft at first. However, Rin has surpassed Zelretch's expectations by a few generations and hence she is considered both a prodigy and an anomaly of the Tohsaka line. Though even with this, her mastery of Second Magic compared to Zelretch's is like comparing the mind of a baby to an adult. However, Rin does continue to grow with her magecraft and may one day fulfill the expectations of her family line.

Magical Circuits:
Quantity: A
Quality: A+
Elemental Affinity: Fire, Wind, Water, Earth and Ether
Attribute: Second Magic
Name:Rin's Gems
Spell Rank:C
Effects:Rin carries a wide variety of these single-use mystic codes on missions and often imbues them prior. Jewel magecraft is the staple magecraft of the Tohsaka line, Rin uses each gem with a different effect. Some may be used to enhance her fighting abilities, others to act as protective shields. Some can even be used to channel the elements and allow for a variety of miscellaneous effects:
The Emerald releases a protective shield that can absorb spells and mystic codes of its rank or lower. The shield is effectively destroyed if hit with a greater ranked spell or mystic code.
The Ruby is based off her own father's magecraft, the gem is intended to store as much fire magical energy as possible. This allows it to act as a large scale or small explosion with one tenth the strength of a small nuke. Not to be used in public areas for obvious reasons...
The Onyx acts as an effective magical trap against opponents, surrounding them in an ice like prison for a few turns. It was shown as being strong enough to hold Berserker in place long enough for Emiya to take shot in the Fifth Grail war.
Malachite acts similar to an anti-unit Phantasm on ones self. Empowers the fists and allows for Rin's strikes to be far deadlier than before and enhances the powers of reinforcement magic.

Name:Gandr(Finn Shot)
Spell Rank:D(C)
Effects:Magical bolt derived from the magic of the Finnish curse of the same name. This acts as Rin's main offensive technique and is fired from the tip of her finger in a way similar to a bullet. The curse has the ability to lower the physical health of the target. The charged variation of the spell is known as the Finn Shot, which has the destructive capabilities of a pistol though it is not as lethal.
