| [PTabbedContent=Medusa Rider][PTab=Status]Parameters Personal Skills
Skill 01 | Divinity: E- | While her original rank in this skill would have been excessively high, if not to say on the level of her sisters, her fall from grace upon being turned into a Gorgon by Hera, out of jealousy, resulted in an almost complete degradation of this skill. Instead she has ranks in "Monster", similar to Phantasmal Beasts or Demons. As such her rank in this is rather peculiar, although it still classifies as divinity.
|
Skill 02 | Independent Action: C | It is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for one day without a Master. Medusa possesses this skill in the Rider class, allowing her to remain in the world longer than most even without a master. It likely derives from her independant, controlling nature as a predator on the Shapeless Isle, and gives her versatility deriving from her being able to act at full strength even if she put great distance between herself and her master.
|
Skill 03 | Monstrous Strength: B | This is an ability possessed by monsters and beasts, temporary boost of the Strength parameter by one rank for a time limit determined by the ranking of this skill. If Medusa use it, the longer she is under the influence of this skill, the more she turns into the legendary monster Gorgon. In this case she grows to almost 60 feet and becomes a significantly greater threat under many circumstances, especially if both of her bounded fields are active. The Gorgon as been described as an nigh undefeatable Demon God, by Perseus, who could barely even stay alive in a fight against it, despite the boons the Gods had availed to him in the shape of Noble Phantasms. She is indeed one of the most terrifying monstrosities brought forth by the greek Gods.
|
Skill 04 | Mystic Eyes: A+ | is the possession of Mystic Eyes that are capable of interfering with the outside world. Medusa's Cybele are grey, with an appearance similar to crystal, or a shattered gem. The Cybele's pupils are squares and cannot actually take in light. Medusa is also entirely unable to close her lids as the irises are solidified. These Mystic Eyes possess an alien beauty that indicates their nature as a divine curse or blessing of sorts, wherein the retina are entirely composed of the Sixth Imaginary element. Cybele affects all targets within the owner’s field of vision, regardless of whether said targets are looking at the Eyes physically, or if they have their eyes closed but continue to view her with their mind's eye, as it is a curse to look upon her in any way. Those with C rank Mana or below will be immediately petrified, while those with B rank Mana would petrify slower, but would still be unable to move when first confronted with the eyes' effect. Finally, those with A rank Mana and above would simply feel immense pressure, which reduces all their parameters by one rank. The entire body of the target will be affected, including clothing and weaponry, "killing them while alive" as they are turned to stone. The ability is viable in petrifying a group of enemies, but it would not be useful against an infinite number.

Class Skills
Skill 01 | Magic Resistance: B | Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. Medusa possesses an exceptionally high rank in this skill, despite being only of the Rider class, rather than one of the knight classes, due to her nature as a Divine Spirit and a Phantasmal Species. |
Skill 04 | Riding: A+ | Creatures on the level of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast can be used as mounts. However, that does not apply to members of the Dragon Kind. |
Noble Phantasm
Optional NP Image here | Breaker Gorgon: Inner-Seal, Temple of Darkness | Rank: C-
| Type: Anti-Unit (Self) | Breaker Gorgon is a powerful Bounded Field on the scale of another world used by Medusa. It was a complement to the temple of blood that "enveloped the world" on the Shapeless Isle, having "sealed the world" instead. It only requires a steady supply of energy from the user to affect a target, unlike Mystic Eyes that require a direct line of sight. It has the ability to "seal all magical properties", catching its targets inside to become trapped within the mind of the user and removing any abilities they possessed in the outside world. What this means is that those affected by it are robbed of abilities tied to magical effects on the person, such as blessings or monstrous abilities. This affects skills and some Noble Phantasms that are blessings or curses. In Medusa's case for example, after having it reflected onto herself through Kibisis, it completely locked her Mystic Eyes and her Monstrous Strength. For that same reason, Medusa typically uses this Noble Phantasm on herself, in order to specifically seal her Mystic Eyes. In this case, it takes shape as a sort of blindfold. Furthermore, the nightmares it can show, may also be pleasant dreams, which Medusa can use to push the target into a dream, so she can suck their blood in peace. Side effects of this include amnesia in the targeted person, causing it to be a rather useful minor application of this Noble Phantasm, to sustain herself. |
Optional NP Image here | Blood Fort Andromeda: Outer-Seal, Temple of Blood | Rank: B | Type: Anti-Army | This Noble Phantasm is the Temple of Blood that surrounded the Shapeless Isle, driving it into endless darkness dyed crimson from the blood spilled within its confines. The sun cannot reach the forsaken inside of the Temple of Blood, whereas those inside it will find themselves discouraged, tense and at worst... dying. This Noble Phantasm of Rider's is a Bounded Field, similar to Breaker Gorgon, yet more powerful in the sense that it can be deployed over a much larger area. It is mainly used to harness magical energy, by turning beings without active circuits, or just an exceedingly low number, into blood and organic goo. This conversion in turn drains the targets of all their energy and feeds Medusa greatly, allowing her to be rather self-sufficient under the right circumstances. The field is set up by establishing a number of seals using her blood as a component for the ritual, sources that establish the boundary line for the field. While these can be temporarily removed, to slow down the process, they regenerate and furthermore multiply constantly, making it impossible to actually prevent the activation of the field. It takes about ten days for the field to be used at its full power, yet can be activated at a lower output at any other time by Medusa. Due to its nature however, it greatly damages the leylines of the area it is set up in and could not be used repeatedly in the same spot, as it'd simply exhaust the area too much. Alas, this can be both an advantage, as well as a disadvantage. Once activated, it forms an advanced bounded field approaching the level of sorcery. A crimson dome-shaped barrier resembling a gigantic red eye is then created around the area of operation, and drenches the area in a crimson veil that makes a person think that blood is seeping into their eyes. The barrier acts like a separate plane that completely cuts off the affected area from the rest of the world, makeing it impossible to see the barrier from the outside. It also cuts off escape routes for fleeing enemies, and prevents any contact to the outside world. The dissolution of the targets inside the Bounded Field is not instant, in fact it is closer to an act of digestion as Rider feeds on them. Those with a proper amount of magical energy are able to resist the bounded field, such as a Servant or proper magus, but those without any are instantly drained. If the bounded field is activated without the proper energy, it can take up to a number of minutes to completely dissolve the victims. Yet when at full power the consumption would be next to instant and would slowly drain even stronger beings, who would still be able to resist the effects to a major degree however. |
Optional NP Image here | Bellerophon: Bridle of Chivalry | Rank: A+ | Type: Anti-Army | The bridle used to ride Pegasus into battle. It is fully capable of reigning even Divine Beasts into serving as mounts, being an odd occurence among Noble Phantasms, as it requires some sort of mount to be available in order to show any effects at all. It greatly boosts the mounted creature's offensive and defensive abilities, making it an incredibly powerful Noble Phantasm in the hands of a skilled Rider. The intended use of this Noble Phantasm, is in combination with Medusa's Pegasus, a present given to her from Poseidon and born from her own blood. Pegasus, as is, is a Phantasmal Beast of the Millenium rank, having lived over a thousand years. It's offensive power approaches that of a dragon, while its defensive power is on the same level already. In fact the mere flapping of its wings is capable of razing structures, the buffets lacerating flesh and tearing apart the very ground with ease. Even without Bellerophon its charge would possess enough power that even the trail of energy left in its wake would suffice to injure a servant. Pegasus' magic resistance furthermore surpasses that of even the highest class of Saber servants, making it completely immune to the influences of thaumaturgy. Alas, despite its immense power, Pegasus is by nature a docile creature and would not actively harm people. This is where Bellerophon comes into play. Using its power, it further boosts the Pegasus' defensive values several times, allowing it to surpass even that dragonlike defense it already would possess without it. It is granted an exorbitant amount of magical energy and divine protection, turning it into a juggernaut among phantasmal mounts. Its armor class is raised by a value of 100 and its speed during a charge becomes absolutely immense, effectively turning Pegasus and Medusa into a white comet of raw power that charges at its targets. Most importantly however, it drives the Pegasus into a violent rampage, directed by its rider, allowing it to be used in combat at all. The bridle can be fastened either after, or simultanious to Pegasus' summoning, enabling it to shoot forward like a projectile, or be mounted by Medusa afterwards. In the latter case Rider and Mount are, as if one being, protecting Medusa in much the same way that Pegasus is protected, as they function as one entity. |
[/PTab] [PTab=Profile]Character Details Height/Weight: 1,72m / 57kg Source : Fate/Stay Night Home Region : Greece Alignment : Chaotic Good Gender : Female
She is a rather tall woman, with a slender, curvacious build and extremely long hair. A peculiarity about her hair is that it is closer to thousands of thin appendages, which she can move as she would a limb, allowing her to grab small objects with them, to carry them around. For obvious reasons, she is typically seen wearing Breaker Gorgon, to prevent others from being petrified by her gaze. Being born as a failed version of her elder sisters, she still retains the allure and unnatural attraction deriving from her nature as a mortal Goddess of Beauty. Alas, this is completely inverted when she takes on the form she assumed as the Gorgon, a gigantic, thriving and churning mass of snake bodies and appendages, with her Cybele becoming just as gigantic in proportion, as her malicious gaze derives from the tower-like demon god.
The Third Sister Medusa was created by the wishes of people, for perfect goddesses. Incarnations of beauty and the ideals of the people of that time. Alas, while both her sisters complied with this wish and were indeed youthful incarnations of innocence and perfection that could not even care for themselves, Medusa was a failure. She was a flawed creation that aged and became more mature, as well as endowed with abilities to protect her innocent elder sisters. Yet out of jealousy of her beauty, Athena cursed her, turning her into the origin of the myth of the Gorgon and the very incarnation of the legend surrounding these beasts. Medusa was banished to the Shapeless Isle, for reasons unknown to her... she had never even been told what offense she had committed, or even how she had angered the goddess of wisdom. She simply retreated into her new home, unfamiliar with everything that surrounded her... and scared, as the humans that once held her dear, now cursed her as a monster. Again... for reasons she did not know The Gorgon Medusa holds much affection for her sisters, who followed her to the Shapeless Island despite not being forced to. In fact, she looks back on these days with grief and yearning alike, wishing she could go back to living in peace with them, as she did in those times where the humans were too afraid of entering the isle, after she had riddled it with the statues of petrified heroes of old. Alas, the more the heroes came along, the more used to killing she became and the more she fed on their remains... the more monstrous she became, in both shape and mentality. She forgot herself, she forgot her sisters and even her very reason for protecting them. So she crushed and devoured them, as she had done to so many others. The hero Perseus too felt that even after the gods had blessed him aplently, he could not possibly stand before the gigantic monster, dreading it from the very moment he lay eyes on it. It was his own astute, instinctive reaction that allowed him to prevail despite having thought it impossible to do anything but survive against her, as he used Kibisis to reflect her Sealing ability on her... The Dream The dream reflects quite elaborately what Medusa truly wished for... it was no nightmare of sheer terror or pain that paralyzed her, as she gazed upon it. It was no eldrich horror to haunt or disturb her... it was simply a reflection of the times she spent with her sisters. Their teasing, their malicious personalities and their toying with her desires and affections. They all held a dear place in her heart even then... and to be reminded of it, to dream of it as she died... was possibly the happiest moment since these days past. Struck with a joy she could not have imagined to be able to feel again after all this time, she was decapitated by the very weapon made to kill her and found her place among the Noble Phantasms of the hero Perseus. Further Character Details Medusa is a person who looks into the past with grief, if she does at all. So while she holds some animosity towards heroes, she tries not to dwell on the confrontations of the past, although their lingering effects on her could not be more concise. She tries not to forget, but simply to settle with keeping these things in their own boxed little world. A chapter closed, a new one started... yet hopefully filled with new opportunities and a life that is not to be spent in the guise of a monstrosity created by Gods out of jealousy. She acts on the most human drives she can think of... she seeks affection more than anything... yet she will not always act on it. For uncontrolled passion, without rational thought behind the sensation, would merely lead to boundless obsession... something she knows, should never be true for her, under any circumstances again.
