Atlas was in a good mood. A rather rare thing indeed. You have a rather dashing Master who's also smart, and a gem user, and she's agreed to go on a Sherlock mystery with you. Needless to say, there weren't many, male or female, who would turn down that offer. So as far as Atlas was concerned, today was already an excellent day. The fruition of days of planning, and he'd make sure it was perfect. A Sherlock simulation! He'd set up the parameters a while back, but the fact of the matter was that he needed it to be perfect. So for this very special occasion, Atlas had gone all out getting the right costumes. Namely, he'd gotten Vlad to make the costumes. The payment agreed was that Atlas would never bother Vlad again for the remainer of their time in Chaldea. Of course, Atlas had absolutely no intention of keeping up his end of the bargain, but he'd make sure to actually pay Vlad whenever he came back for tailoring. Seriously, the guy was creepy as hell, but his work should be a national treasure. Atlas could hand the man some wash cloths and he'd come out with a snazzy midnight blue tuxedo. Seriously, he would need better costumes for future simulations, and who better than Dracula? Now he waited, outside the virtual room itself, wearing an exquisite Victorian suit with a bowl hat. The bowl hat gave away who he was. The clothes of the real star, the overcoat and deerstalker hat, he cradled in his arms. There'd be no leaving until they solved the mystery, and he'd painstakingly put it together. He'd put a few rules that he'd gladly explain to Tohsaka, but as far as he was concerned, he was happy to sit back and let her do most of the solving. Really, what's the point of being Sherlock if you don't get to be Sherlock? tags: Rin Tohsaka notes: what, did you think he'd be sherlock?

Rin couldn’t even figure out why she had agreed to this stupid game of his; the more she thought about what he had in store for the two of them, the more ridiculous it was starting to sound. She was recruited into one of the biggest magical organizations on Earth whose main goal was to save the world and she found herself playing Clue and Dress up with a millennia old king? Just the thought of it tickled her the wrong way, she could be doing more research or going on a mission or ANYTHING more productive than this!
Alas, Rin was never one to break a promise and she wasn’t about to start now, even if she thought this whole dress up activity was a waster of time. Sighing, she looked over her costume and the pipe she had brought for herself, she could have just used a fake one but she ended up using her father’s old pipe instead. Putting on the Vlad stitched brown jacked over her ordinary attire and sliding the patched deer hunter hat over her head, she was beginning to take the appearance of a somewhat grouchy and feminine looking Sherlock Holmes, though that actually would fit his character rather well wouldn’t it?
Letting out another elongated sigh, she stuck the wooden pipe in between her luscious lips, suckling a bit on its tip to add some effect to this makeshift roleplay she found herself in. Approaching Atlas outside the simulation room, where Liz’s body was still being carted out from the last mission, Rin gave him a light but firm nudge.
“Well, what are you waiting for? The sooner we can get this done the better…”

For a moment, Atlas was actually pretty happy to see that she came. Then she made it clear beyond a doubt that she wanted to get it over with. Atlas was about to say something when he noticed the body of the lizard girl being carried out. Grasping the rim of his bowl hat, he lowered it to his chest and closed his eyes in a moment of silence. Elizabeth Bathory had technically died in the line of duty, and thus deserved the respect. Personally, Atlas wanted to give her one of those totally rockin' Viking funerals but apparently that was out of the question. With that out of the way, he turned to Tohsaka and gave her a stare before bluntly announcing "You need to relax more."Leaning on a cane slightly, he realized he pretty much towered over her, but a lot of people did, so that wasn't an issue. He did have to admit though, she really did fit the part for Sherlock, especially with the grouchy look. He gave a small, amused smile, but said nothing. "Before we start, I'll explain the rules." Holding up one of his hands, he raised a single finger. "I've set a no magic parameter, meaning we can only use our smarts, no using your gems to tell you the answer." He wasn't sure if she could do that, but he could, and pulling that stung was just no fun. He raised a second finger. "I also don't know what exactly I've set up, so I won't be able to give you the answer if you get stuck." He wouldn't really elaborate on that part. "Considering I made it though... let's say I'll grant one request if you can solve this case." He sounded rather confident at that. He had a feeling he knew what the request would be, so he felt confident even making the offer. He raised a third finger. "Also, if both of us should "die," then the simulation ends and the mystery is a failure." He raised a fourth finger. "We are in this until the case is solved or we fail. No backing out."He did however, notice her dedication; "That's an excellent pipe, by the way. Where did you get it?"With that, he pulled out a notebook and a pen and opened the door to the simulator. Atlas took the lead, stepping out of Chaldea into a dreary London morning. There was the hustle and bustle of the populace, but everyone seemed to congregate around a certain area. Atlas looked at the clouds as they gave a dreary gray. "Might want to get this underway, Ms. Holmes. It looks like it wants to rain."The time is 09:00The weather is CLOUDY tags: Rin Tohsaka notes: the nightmare begins
