"Research division, research division." she muttered the words like a mantra as she tried navigating the way towards the said place with only her memory to rely on. Sadly, memorization wasn't one of her strong suits. Sure, she wasn't horrible with it, but one that to admit, the entire place looked the same in certain areas and it was hard to find the right room even with all the helpful signs and codes. Was this what it felt like to be in a star-ship like in one of those sci-fi movies? It did look advanced enough that had her handler failed to properly explain the situation, she couldn't be blamed for thinking she'd been abducted by aliens.
Still, she was certain it had to be nearby - she could at least remember the letter designation... except she was now having second thoughts about even that. It had been fifteen minutes. Unless she took a wrong turn somewhere along the line she should already be there. Frustration caused the woman to grind her teeth and tap her feet against the polished floor in frustration.
It was at that moment that she would hear footsteps from where she'd passed only moments ago.
'Time to swallow your pride, I guess.' she told herself as she straightened her skirt and jacket with the pads of her fingers before walking towards the direction of the sound. Once she saw the person she would immediately give him a friendly wave with one hand and explain herself with as a neutrally warm expression as she could muster. "Hey! Uhm greetings, I'm sort of new here and everything and I'm supposed to deliver blood samples to the research division or something." okay, at least he looked very normal, which was a very pleasant thing as far as she was concerned. It did help he didn't have a big sword strapped to his back, weapons always made her think of those thugs back in the seedier places in her neighborhood. "So sorry to bother you, I mean, if you're busy you don't have to help me... but if you aren't I would be in your debt if you could give me a hand. I'm not... err... not really used to this magic stuff you see."
