"Chop chop chop." Came from the kitchen. Kiyohime was having fun preparing food. After all, she was going on a date with Anchin and everything should be perfect for it. She had gotten teh chef to give her the right ingredients, then tossed him out of there, while Anchin was sitting behind her. Pretty quiet too, Anchin looked a bit weird too. Kind of too tall from what she had heard, but it would not be weird to her. Turning her attention to the food again, she chopped away. (The agent she had dragged with her out of the blue took his chance and crawled out, sweat beading from his forehead) It definitely looked weird and from the loud sound of it and the power she put behind it, it seemed like it should split the table clean. But it did not. Instead, it all turned out nicely and very delicious looking in a box, that was then wrapped up in a blanket, so they could sit on it. Turning around, Anchin was gone. Ah, he must have gone to check out where they would meet. He was just the loveliest person there was. Smiling, she put the knife away after she glanced over it for a moment, thinking to herself that he may have run away... But no, they had a meeting point and he would definitely be there, right? RIGHT? The knife suddenly lodged itself into the wall deep. Humming a song from her childhood, Kiyohime took the box of food and moved to the door. Closing it quietly and looking like a noble woman as she used her tiny hands and looked quite regal. Just like she had learned from her parents. As she walked to the meeting spot, she thought that she saw some shadows hushing by, but could not make anyone out and it was quiet. (Quite some of the agents and members of the staff knew by now not to be seen by her and expect to get away easily) As she saw that he was not there yet, she wondered if her assumption had been right and he had run away again. Her hair color slowly delving into a lighter color as she waited. A little flame burning in her eyes from rage slowly building up, the snow around her melting by her mere breath. Ready to turn this situation into the legend she was known from. "Ah, Anchin I long for you so much."

It was so strange to be called on a mission – and with a Servant, too? It was certainly a first for Kinu, but it wasn’t unwelcome, at least. Something more meaningful to do than sit around and act as a syringe pin-cushion, in any case; though he wasn’t quite sure if he really was up to the task… it was just a rescue mission in the mountains, though; so maybe it wouldn’t be so rough? And Servants were supposed to be amazing, too. Honestly, he had some doubts after reading the note he’d gotten under his door this morning – what kind of hero wanted to have a picnic, exactly? Kinu wasn’t well-versed in history, but… err, and that handwriting seemed a bit... messy. Excited. It was all a little…
…comforting! A comrade who was powerful yet down-to-earth and eager; it ought to be a perfect fit. No doubt leadership had deliberately put them together to help ease Kinu in; finally showing a bit of consideration for his nervousness and fragile nature. Even as the tiny boy walked gently to the meeting point, his uneasy heart felt calm for once – the mission would go just fine! Admittedly, he was a touch late due to some fuss over his cooking (it had to be perfect!), but he would only be a minute or two late, at the very least.
And indeed, it seemed his unlikely host had even gone out of her way to warm the place up for him. Kinu gave a tiny sigh of relief upon seeing the kimono-clad spirit, all too happy to be met with a Japanese Servant on top of everything else. Greeting her with a tiny smile as he tightened his scarf and held his thermos of tea close, Kinu waited expectantly at the taller girl’s side – yes, this mission would be quite pleasant. Doing good things! Being useful! Not being experimented on as much! Suffering from the cold! It felt nice!
But…
Looking up at the lady… Kinu felt his throat go dry. He’d done something wrong, but he had no idea what. Yet, something felt utterly off. He felt threatened.
Like a mouse before a lion…

A lion that would suddenly turn into a loving little kitten upon seeing the tiny master. For a moment her anger had still persisted, taking just a fraction of a second to notice that anchin had arrived. It did not matter in what form or shape, she would love him eternally just as how she loathed and hated him at the same time. But all was forgiven as long as he was around her. And he was, standing right in front of her, her features softened as she acknowledged it and the fire in her eyes burned down as her hair grew a vivid green again. A bright and loving smile across her face as she hugged his arm, bending down a little to press herself in an embrace against the tiny anchin. He was so cute and Anchin that she was happy beyond any human understand and reasoning, rubbing her cheek against his, chanting and squeeing like a fangirl: "Anchinanchinanchinanchinanchin." For a little while before she remembered her japanese culture and upbringing. Overwhelming as her presence most likely had been for those few moments, she suddenly became less so. Still embracing his arm, looking deeply into his eyes with tears of happiness just held back. Brushing over her ruffled traditional clothes and arranging them to look good again, before speaking up after she was sure she looked her best.
"I knew you would be here Anchin. See, I even made some food for our picnic. But you made me wait and I did not... It does not matter, you are here now, Anchin, Anchin. Ah, I am so happy, a date with Anchin. Let us look for a nice place to picnic, I will let you lead Anchin, just take me away from here Anchin." Her breath was very warm as she said so and the ice and snow around them was melting with ease while they would just merely feel warm and cozy. Before they begin to move, Kiyohime would pick up the box with food, warm to the touch as well. Humming a little happy tune, she would give Anchin the box to carry, it would not do for a japanese lady to carry something with a strong man around. Blinking with her long eyelashes, she handed him the food and would let him lead her along to wherever there was a nice spot to eat. Whispering 'Anchin' from time to time and then giggling happily and leaning on him a little, snuggling up to him.

Being used to being kept at arms’ length whenever possible, Kinu was very, very confused to end up with an azure-haired girl wrapped around him – no, she was smothering him! R-Rubbing and hugging and squeaking…! W-What was this about?! Was she going to eat him?! The homunculus just froze up in her grip; stiff as a board from head to toe – he had no idea how to deal with this sort of reception. The mortified boy didn’t even react when she let go of him for a good few seconds; simply shell-shocked by his welcome… however, once she finally let go of him to clean herself up; the boy would just jolt back a good metre in a single step; Kiyohime’s heated breath just adding meaning to Kagero’s cautions about the nature of Servants when it came to other spirits.
Upon listening to his unlikely compatriot’s words, though; the boy awkwardly received the box that was passed to him – err, she wasn’t threatening him too much, at least; though his sense of impending doom was still ringing like crazy. Trying to ignore her flirtations, Kinu just concentrated on the job ahead of them… only to be reminded that they were on a freezing mountain, as a chilly wind lightly peppered him with snow. Darting back to Kiyohime’s side, the boy would shyly sidle up to her again; figuring that her warmth was probably worth tolerating with her… affections? Kinu was not very well-versed in this sort of thing.
Thankfully, their intended goal did not seem too far off as a flare glittered in the sky further down the mountainside… but that said, mountains were anything but safe, even around the more reinforced portions where Chaldea’s compound had been set-up. But, lunchbox in one arm and repair kit in the other; Kinu strode forward; full of hope and tenacity despite his fragile frame…
…and promptly went tumbling down the steep but thankfully snowy mountainside…

Anchin was so cute as he sidled up against her, seeking her companionship and closeness. That he had not talked had not even registered with her, she was already making up words for him in her head, a soft whispered 'I love you' as she stopped her humming for a moment. A sweet anecdote about their eternal romance there. Ah, it was just perfect in her head. Normally she would stay at most half a step behind him, straining the japanese custom of a wive following five steps behind beyond what should be allowed, but it was all for Anchin after all. Oh, Anchin. So sweet, so nice, so tiny and cute. Waves of happiness washed over her every step she took feeling his warmth and how he snuggled into her. It was a tad bit cold maybe, but it would not matter to the two of them, all that they would be able to think about were each other. "Oh Anchin, I am so happy we can be together like this."And then it happened, apparently Anchin had found a place to eat. What else could be the reason to start running. Ah, he was always so fierce and determined once he found something. But it was her job to make sure everything is ready. Breathing out, at the end of the slope Kinu was tumbling down, the snow evaporated, there was no in between, it was snow with a light blue shimmer on it and then was gone, steam bursting safely away from it, a somewhat straight area was laid bare and Kiyohime smiled. Quickly jumped with a tiny step to catch the box of food and that other box, that had no meaning to her, but apparently to Anchin and landed gracefully. With her horns and long kimono, she looked like a dragon gliding through the air and then turning around to catch the tumbling Anchin with her chest. A soft cushion for his head as she embrace the small Anchin and patted off some snow away from his clothes. Laughing a tiny little laugh of happiness, she said: "You little playful Anchin, let me just get that and then prepare our little picnic."A cute little finger moved up to the tip of his nose and wiped away the last bit of snow, coyly licking it from her finger. Keeping Kinu close to her chest, it seemed to grow a little from her happiness as she unwrapped the box with one hand and placed the blanket on the ground. Seating herself, dragging Kinu along before sitting down, placing the boy just beside her. Opening the box, it started to smell delicious already as she set it down on her lap and picked up the chopsticks, picking up some fried shrimp, placing a hand below it to make sure it did not fell and lead it to Anchin´s mouth. Smiling at him gently, her eyes radiating kindness and love, she said in a noble and dignified manner: "I hope this hastily prepared meal will suffice to meet the standards of your tastebuds, my beloved." If she had had any thought about the mission, they were long gone and she was now fully focused on serving this meal to her dear beloved Anchin. The repair box laying discarded a few feet away just outside of the warm zone Kiyohime created.

Admittedly, Kinu’s own first concern wasn’t for the mission equipment – not ending up as a frozen corpse was a bit higher on his priorities – but thankfully, his compatriot appeared to just as superhuman as promised; sweeping both him and their gear up in one wondrous movement… more than he could have asked for from anyone. And she didn’t even seem a touch fatigued or frustrated… this was a lovely way to be introduced to Servants. A welcome cushion too, though a certain spirit seemed to have a lot to blabber and laugh about in regards to the situation – Kinu just tried his best to ignore his host’s bizarre habits at this point; vastly preferring when the kitsune would just settle down and let them fuse properly. But, regardless of a certain brattish soul, the homunculus was happy to safe after their tumble. And being fussed over like this, too! The poor thing would blush awkwardly, unsure of how to react to such affection again. Being carried like this… w-well, it wasn’t unpleasant, was it…?
Glancing away bashfully as his unlikely date for the day made a show of tasting a hint of snow, Kinu did his utmost to keep professional in the midst of all this – honestly, he’d like to just listen to her gush on and on to get some idea of why she was acting so nice, but they did have a mission to do! Besides, even though her heat was helping him a lot, they were still out in the midst of snowy mountains… he really would freeze to death without her around, and he wasn’t even sure how long that would last. Once placed back down on the ground, the boy would hastily stand up and glance around; looking for some sign of their work.
However, upon being met with such a wondrous treasure as a meal, and a Japanese-styled one at that; Kinu immediately sat down again – both sides of his persona were utterly entranced now. Onigiri and tempura and sushi; the boy briefly glowed with excitement, his usual awkwardly stoic demeanour lost for good as curiosity overtook him. This was just too good to be true. B-But, was this all for him…? Gently breaking a pair of chopsticks laid alongside the meal, the homunculus would carefully select one of the tempura treats… only to shyly offer it to his companion instead, feeling a bit bad for assuming that it really was all for him. Though… didn’t this sort of thing happen in stories, somewhere? All alone in a field, offering a treat to his ‘beloved’… well, it felt a little familiar, but it also felt a lot like one of Kagero’s usual bizarre outlooks on people…

It was so beautiful to think about her situation, Kiyohime could only feel as happy as could be. Sitting here with Anchin, oh, her anchin who she loved so much and shared a meal. In the middle of pure whiteness that was so innocent and lovely that it could only be that nature was trying to reflect her pure love, failing by it´s finite standards, whereas her love is so infinite nothing would ever be able to copy it in any form or kind. Knowing such was enough for her to sustain herself until the ends of time on love alone. Rustling nervously a little, she was hoping for Anchin to take some or even, could she hope? Feed her. Sure, she was a perfectly perfect japanese beauty, brought up by strict parents and taught the secrets of the art of serving and yet still...
Could she agree it in any way with her feelings? All her upbringing and all her skills, all naught in the face of love and yet so deeply ingrained she could not even let go of her personality to melt away into love completely. That was unless she was enraged or followed Anchin´s will. Ah, if only she could just go and ask him for this tiniest of favors, happiness overwhelming it would be. And then she heard the chopsticks being broken, the gentle smile on her face never having wavered even the tiniest bit. Looking at Anchin alone enough to raise her spirit so high that even this little despair of hers did not diminish the flame burning inside of her. Expecting to be handed the chopsticks to feed him or Anchin eating himself, instead he would pick something up and hold it up to her mouth. Looking as manly and cute and gentlemenly and wild as always Anchin, was offering food to her...
The landscape around them burst into steam as Kiyohime´s head grew several shades of a darker red, even her horns growing a light lovely pink. The temperature suddenly was raised to tropic like climates, but the thing that radiated the most. The purest of happiness was written plainly on the blushing kiyohime´s face as she slowly wrapped her lips around the tasty bit. Hiding her eating behind her sleeve, not even tasting anything but the blood rushing through her body and the taste of love. Smiling broadly, she shook her head afterwards. Now she was actually feeling lightheaded and a bit weirdly heated up as she took the chopsticks from Anchin´s hands, visibly her hands were quivering just the tiniest bit as she picked up a fried shrimp, small enough to fit any mouth and yet mouthwateringly well prepared. Proceeding to feed him with the intent of being happy and very wively.
"Ah, Anchin, if you let me feel too much love, I feel that I would burst from happiness, so please let me return the favor. I know your love for me runs as deep as mine, but please acknowledge my plea to calm my heart or just to let a foolish woman in love have her way, so that I may prepare for your next show of love." Where her eyes had been a bit watery with tears that could incinerate wood immediately, now there was only devotion toward Anchin and the love she felt. Ah, she did not know what would happen if he indeed did not allow her this moment of respite to calm her burning heart, so close to overflowing and literally bursting.

Suffice to say, at this point Kinu was a bit too caught up in the moment to care quite so much for the ‘rescue’ mission – it wasn’t out of genuine disrespect for Chaldea’s authority, or lack of concern for whatever stranded soul’s life, but… this was interesting. With such a sheltered background, it was hard for him to comprehend the urgency the mission was supposed to entail, and so here he was – giving a dragon treats. For a moment, he was just left waiting as Kiyohime got caught up in her fantasy wonderland. She certainly looked like she’d jumped out of a picture book to Kinu; all too lovely for this world; but she seemed to be living more in her head than on the snow at this point. Err, had he done something wrong already…?
Kinu’s hair was then promptly blown back by the little heatwave, a drip of sweat rolling down his forehead – ah, was this her magic? It didn’t seem very offensive, though… maybe she was just more physical-based after all. A fitting companion for a magus, right? So that made sense in his head. On the other hand, the colour in her face didn’t look so healthy… but, it was somehow a familiar expression – another of Kagero’s memories? Oh, and now he was blushing, too… a-ah, he wasn’t sure how to react to all this! Oh, and putting her sleeve up like that, it was making his heart pound a bit faster… this was a bit of a strange experience. But, as his chopsticks alighted from his hands, he could see her quiver a little; was she really okay? As the Servant spoke, Kinu gently shuffled closer to the girl; leaning ever-so-slightly against her side… she was cold, wasn’t she…?
Upon being met with the pair of chopsticks again, though; he was just confused – but, thankfully he had an older comrade to aid him; making him open his mouth almost instinctively. Just a tiny bit, though; he had to look just as dignified as his date… date? Was something on? Yet again Kagero was throwing all sorts of weird images and thoughts about their head… best to just let them lead on. Oh, though… wasn’t it a little hot here, next to the Servant? He thought she’d looked cold when he’d sidled up to her, but it seemed like it’d just gotten even hotter instead…

With a blissful glance in her dull eyes, she enjoyed the attention she got from her Anchin. Even more, he had sidled up to her and was now leaning his head against hers. Ah, such bliss and happiness. Whereas she had been close to fainting before, with all the blood rushing to her head, she relaxed a little now as she fed the little Anchin. It was a picture that she would forever commit to memory. As she calmed down, the heat died down a little too, her breathing going back to normal. All smiles and cooing a little as she fed him. What calmed her even more was the little hesitation he had shown before, it had been so cute, she had wanted to eat him up. But instead she slowly fed him gently and waiting in between his bites, taking smaller pieces for herself and letting them vanish into her mouth. Eating them before he could notice most likely.
And soon enough, they had eaten up most of the contents of the boxes. Kiyohime deeming the rest as too cold by now or pieces that she would not dare serve her Anchin. And suddenly she felt a little chill as a single drop of water dripped onto her bare thigh. It made her jump against Anchin 'accidentally' and cling to him for a few moments before she let go again. It had started to snow a little again and her shield of warmth was melting the snow, turning them into cold drops of water. Alone the thought that she had forgotten an umbrella was something she had to engrave into her memory to bring next time. "Anchin, let us go back. The weather will surely turn for the worse soon and we should hurry back, so that we can warm our bodies before an open fire." Kiyohime smiled mysteriously at that last bit and then let go of him, standing up and wiping the single drop of water from her thigh with an elegant movement of her sleeve.
Only because she had a moment while packing the boxes back into each other, she looked around and noticed the snow as it was. Before, she had only taken it in as a color and nuisance. The place she had been called to definitely did not look like her homecountry. Apart from grieving her a little to have left there, she had to say that even if that was the case, it did not matter as long as she could be with her anchin. After she would finish with that and returned the boxes back into the blanket they had sat on, she would once again take her place just behind (beside) Anchin and be lead by him. Quietly following along, humming slightly to herself, lost in happy thoughts.

While the boy continued to just enjoy the attention and affection, a growing concern began to nag in the back of his mind – err, what about that mission, huh? But, his current situation was a bit too distracting for him to try and raise the issue in the midst of this sudden little picnic. Admittedly, Kiyohime’s affections were a bit… overbearing, at least for the homunculus who had not really felt this sort of attention before; but it was not unwelcome. It felt nice, in a strange, warm way. Much like the lady herself, really. And, the weather around them really was a lovely backdrop… he didn’t get to appreciate being outdoors much, unsurprisingly. Especially while he was so warm... he felt like he’d heated up on both the inside and outside; a truly wonderful sensation for a boy constantly tormented by the cold. Kiyohime’s little jolt earned a worried look from Kinu, but he didn’t move much himself – was he worried about her personally, or just worried about being smothered? Thankfully she was willing to alleviate the awkwardness in a hurry; but promptly reminded the boy of their mission again… it wouldn’t look good for him to return without it done, even though he clearly hadn’t much control over the Servant. Homunculi were expendable… he didn’t want to push his luck in any way. Standing up a little while the lady cleaned up their makeshift picnic with grace that matched her looks perfectly, Kinu was just mystified by the display for a moment before regaining his bearings. Jolting a little, the boy would nervously wave his hands in front of the lady to try and get her attention again while she expecting him to lead them home; Kinu tried to figure out some way to get his point across to her… being mute was a bit tough. At first, the boy tried to just point a lot at the pack of parts they were supposed to deliver – maybe that would jog her memory? But then, a red light was cast over the snow; lighting up the sky even in the midst of the sunlight… a flare on the horizon, like a firework in the sky. It really was pretty… yet again, the little fox just got caught up in the view for a moment. Realising what was going on, the boy tried to point wildly at the especially early star; trying to get the Servant’s attention again – that was surely the pilot, right? So, that was a perfect cue! Looking especially silly as they gestured at the flare hurriedly with a worried expression, Kinu left patches in the snow with his hopping about… suffice to say, he rather lacked Kiyohime’s grace while on his feet; for better or worse. *** Kiyohime Sorry about the awfully long wait! Please feel free to give me a hoy if I’m falling behind on things like this, I can be a bit forgetful.
