It's a new year and Chaldea needs to renegotiate it's funding.
Almost all world powers support the organization in some way, but they each contribute different things to the effort.
Because the higher-ups were deployed en-mass for this diplomatic effort, some of the Agents were sent as auxiliary security.
You weren't one of them.
Instead, you were sent to indulge the crazed desires of the research director Da Vinci. It seems they really wanted to adquire specific petrified wood carving, of aboriginal origin, that could potentially have great uses in some obscure design they are planning. This carving's location was determined to be in Australia, in the Tanami desert. The precision of the tracking allows you know exactly where it is... With around 300 feet margin of error... In the middle of the desert...
...
Well have fun searching for it!

[attr="class","wonwoo"]Nana wasn't exactly happy about her situation here. She was sitting in the middle of a desert trying to find one little object. It truly felt like a waste of time. Really she'd rather be working on improving her magic then looking for some stupid wood carving. But, here she was, looking for it. Really it was silly that they sent anyone out on this, can't De Vince find it themselves?
At least the heat didn't bother her all that much, it wasn't that far off from her home land. Except her lovely river was gone. Yes this place was far worse then her lovely Africa. Sighing, she rubbed the back of her head. Where was the other person that was supposed to be coming? Nana looked around for someone else, but so far no one.
Guess she was here first, she debated going on ahead and letting the person find her. But, it probably was better if she just sat and waited. There really wasn't a particular direction that she would have to go in and getting seperated might make things even more complicated. So she instead just sat and began drawing in the sand with a stick that was on the ground. Maybe they'll be here soon? Sorry it's kind of short <3 |

The overbearing stench of heat… The sizzle across her skin… The sound of air billowing across dunes… The taste of dry winds…
It was abominable. Who was really this cruel? Who sat down and thought; ‘Let’s send all the ill-adjusted magus and Servants to business in the big cities, and then send our one sane person to a desert! Make sure they’re blind and give them a stupid job!’?! Who honestly signed that off as a good idea?! If it weren’t for her Servant, Natasha honestly wouldn’t have even shown up! She could have been in a nice hotel room in the city, maybe seeing the sights later in the day when things cooled down… or, going to one of those big diners… maybe that casino on the coast? Ah, now she really was hungry, damn it…
Waltzing across the uneven sand, Natasha’s usual formal attire had been replaced with a sweatshirt and shorts that didn’t match her looks at all; while sunscreen was dabbled across her faint skin – no doubt already burning up given the harsh sun. A wide-brimmed sunhat at least gave her a bit of coverage, but she all too often had to hold it down on her head. The poor lady was already drenched in sweat… this obviously wasn’t her cup of tea. Thankfully, she bore a parasol over her head in order to save her skin a little more; but it seemed as if it was falling apart in this much sunlight. Maybe she should have just gone all the way and worn some wraps instead…
Dragging herself over to her Servant’s side; Natasha located the girl by her connection – and the faint sound of her breath… well, as much as she could hear over her own heavy breathing. Dumping herself upon the dune the other soul was already idling upon, the blonde groaned with irritation and exhaustion, burying her head in her hands. ”Alright, before you start… I’m not a Servant! I can’t just bear this sort of environment. And I’m RUSSIAN! I don’t have the skin or temperment for it… and, I’m blind, and out of shape, and jet-lagged! So don’t blame me for all this, okay?!” snapped the blonde; her bad temper being particularly out of sorts given her usual gentle attitude. But, she really was at her wits end… hopefully her Servant could notice at least that much.
”What the hell are we looking for, anyway?! I don’t know! I wasn’t even shown a picture! We’re just stuck here, in the middle of a fucking desert! Nothing but sand, sand, sand, and maybe some brush! I hate it! I hate it! I WANNA GO HOME!” cried Natasha in frustration, hurling her arms at the sky in some act of defiance against the powers that be – or maybe just Chaldea’s administration. ”I miss food nicer than steak! I miss air conditioning! I miss fans, for that matter! I miss roofs that aren’t made of tin! I miss people who speak proper English, or something close to it! I miss hearing the words ‘Good day’ with proper enunciation!"
"I just wanna go home! Aaaaagh!”
