NAME: Hoshoku-Sha Rokushiki
[PTabbedContent][PTab=APPEARANCE]
There are not many things that can be said about Hoshoku-sha’s appearance that can be said. Simply put, in the eyes of the average human she looks like something out of a nightmare. A human monster that defines associations with barbarism, savagery and other such images is all she is in these people’s eyes. Standing roughly 6’4’’ tall, even her rough frame is nothing but abnormal, especially in face of her being of Japanese descent. While extremely tall, she is of a very lithe build, possessing clearly visible muscles, yet having trained them into a wiry, rather than massive form. Her entire body hints at massive, primal power, yet seems to be lacking the obvious clues to typical human “strength”.
Her face and especially her eyes however, drive this ‘primal’ factor to eleven. With an expression that could be called nothing but cold or indifferent and the amber eyes of a predator fixated on its prey, just being looked at by her would be comparable to being observed by a shark, or large predatory mammal. Her entire being gives off an aura that is inherently alien and simply put, not human. In fact people with strong phobias against specific animals would feel devastated by her sheer presence as she carries with her a comparable feeling of ‘instinctive dread’.
Overall, her appearance is that of a very tall woman with pitch black hair that falls roughly down to her shoulders when worn open. Needless to say she wears it tied to a pony tail almost all the time. Her skin is fair, yet weathered, clearly hinting at her original life style. Her shoulders are wide, her hips comparatively narrow and generally speaking she carries an exceedingly androgynous vibe. Her entire way of moving is also a little awkward to observe, as it is extremely ‘functional’ rather than influenced by certain clichés of ‘how to move’ in her given position. Her attire is very one-sided, as she has only the clothing given to her, aside from the traditional ones she possessed through both her own labour and the life with her master.
So she tends to wear a jumpsuit and sneakers, or training and gym clothes, consisting of a sports bra, shorts, protectors and boots. Generally speaking she has no favourite clothing, or a specific style. She’d wear anything given to her if it serves its purpose good enough. Needless to say, giving her heels or hard to move around in clothing would result in little more than a confused stare, over such profound stupidity.

[PTab=PERSONALITY]
A blank slate. This description most likely fits Hoshoku-sha’s bill perfectly. She grew up in an environment almost completely devoid of humans, having spent 16 years of her life completely on her own. She lacks any semblance of normality that is not natural, as well as any sort of moral principles. When she looks at another human, she does not associate that person as a member of the same species; she just considers them yet another animal. The entire prospect of ‘morality’ is completely unknown to her. Concepts of good or evil, even right and wrong simply do not exist to her. Hoshoku-sha is solely defined by the principles of ‘what is possible’ and ‘what is not possible’, wherein the only bar for measurement is herself.
In that sense anything that is feasible to her, is something that can or should be done if the circumstances or whims call for it, while something that is not, excludes itself by default due to not being possible or meaningful. Practically speaking, if she sees something edible while she is hungry, she will eat it. Ownership-rights are completely unfamiliar to her, as well as the principle of possession. ‘Having’ something goes no further than the immediate holding of the object in question, with your own hands. Even then the acquisition of the object is still a valid course of action to her, if she can bring up the motivation to do it, along with even a shred of confidence in being able to acquire it.
She holds no real animosity towards anyone or anything, even those attempting to kill her, viewing it as a completely legitimate way of dealing with potential prey. In much the same way, her reactions to such things would be completely indifferent, reacting violently in kind, without the slightest bit of surprise or fear over this development. It is simply the natural course of things for two beings to fight each other, when one craves the other in such a deadly manner. Now, while she possesses a certain amount of curiosity there is room for learning of such things to her. However, it would be exceedingly difficult to explain the principle of ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ to somebody who will find the entire definition of these words utterly incoherent and nonsensical.
She is however a person that is inherently obedient if she sees no reason to refuse to do something. Being neither lazy in the sense of, refusing because somebody else could do it, nor distrustful she would take ones word absolutely for granted. If somebody states something, she thinks with absolute conviction that it has to be true. She herself too is incapable of lying, having no idea what it even is or would be used for. Her level of speech is comparable to that of a child between ten and fourteen years of age, as she only was reintroduced into the principle of language half a year ago. She does however possess a form of innate body language that, of course, only she herself understands. Hoshoku-sha would have to explain her own ‘language’ to others in a manner quite similar to them having to explain their concepts to her. The only concept she ever truly learnt is that of ‘train to improve’, as it was the only thing she was ever really introduced to with her master.

[PTab=HISTORY]
Hoshoku-sha’s story is one without a true beginning. She knows not even if she had parents, although she undoubtedly did. All she is aware of is that she was dumped in the forests in some country when she was little more than an infant. Of course she would have died, if just left lying around like that, however through a streak of luck an old man of the same ethnicity took the child in. She did not know his name, as she merely got to know him as Sensei. Sensei was, in fact, something of a sage; a man who had mastered his martial arts to a point where it did not seem exactly human anymore.
Her own name, Hoshoku-sha Rokushiki, is merely a designation for her, as it means nothing more than Predator Type-36. The predator herein was meant to imply what he wished for her to be. Sensei did not want another human disciple; instead he wished to raise somebody untouched by human hands and values, solely defined by the art and nature itself. So the next four years, he nourished her until she was able to stand on her own feet, before teaching her how to take care of herself, through teaching her both martial arts, as well as basic survival in the wilds. While he did teach her verbal communication, he kept it to a bare minimum, so as to evade influencing her too much by his own values. In a sense, he was more of a neutral observer that intervened to guarantee survival and advance, without any care for direction and nature of either. The second part of her name, Type-36, merely suggests that she was his 36th attempt at training a disciple.
Even then her Master could already view her raw potential, when she executed her first trained manoeuvres far beyond the capabilities of a child her age, in a way so flawless and lacking in excess movement that it appeared unnatural even to him. It took him mere weeks to figure out that she was indeed a person born with the proper way of Breathing and Walking. While he did his best to encourage and emphasize her training along those lines, his old age soon took its toll on him. He died, when Hoshoku-sha was four years old. His death was... unfamiliar to her. She did not understand the concept at the time, so she assumed that he was merely sleeping, without waking up. Yet, when he started to smell she saw herself forced to get rid of his body, to prevent predators and other such creatures from breaching into their little hut in the forest. By that time she also realized that something similar to her prey had happened to him, as the signs had been the same.
Mostly indifferent about his demise, she quickly adapted to his sudden disappearance, by following his teachings while advancing on them by her own judgment, as he had told her to do. The idea was simple... if you think you can do it, try it. If you fail, train until you are much stronger, and then try it again. Never forget, you can always become stronger by training yourself, always. Following that principle, Hoshoku-sha confronted her first bear in a fistfight when she was twelve years old. Being ridiculously powerful for a child her age, even she had trouble coping with the beast’s incredible power, forcing her to resort to using the trees and her environment in general to her advantage to get the bear into a chokehold, to finally break its neck. Being utterly dissatisfied with how close the fight had brought her to being killed, she sought to find a way to kill these beasts in a single blow. The idea was really just to get rid of them before they could become a real threat to her again.
The training regimen she thought of to accomplish this was... well an attempt to punch a hole into the waterfall. Why? Because no matter how hard she punched it, it never had had a hole before. So her logic simply went with ‘if I can punch a hole into the waterfall, punching a hole into a bear will be very easy in comparison’. So partially out of boredom, partially out of feeling it to be necessary, Hoshoku-sha continuously kept punching a waterfall for a full year straight, whenever she could spare the time. As she did so, she thought about possible ways to punch it, as just pushing it inside like that did not really do anything. So she thought that, instead of pushing it away, pulling the water in, to one spot might break the fall. This finally led to her development of the Kumakirã technique, as in the end she finally succeeded in creating a vacuum that not only cut through the waterfall, but also through ten times two meters of Cliffside behind the waterfall. In effect, she had manually split the waterfall, which to her equated to succeeding in punching a hole into it. Even while not completely correct, she actually HAD succeeded in creating a hole in the flow of the water itself for several seconds.
From this point onward, killing bears almost became something of a triviality to her, as her training had also succeeded in increasing her normal physical output to exorbitant levels. Without a doubt in the world, she became the apex predator of her territory. This life continued on, pretty much undisturbed as she experimented with the principle of the ‘spiral’ she had come up with, resulting in her modifying the movement technique Sensei had shown her years ago, with an outward principle of the spiral. The incentive here was simply to catch birds during flight... because why not? One could truly say that having too much time on her hands, aided her in developing herself far beyond anything even remotely human.
During her last year in the forest, she came across a group of humans for the first time. Having never actually met humans in more than fifteen years of time, since Sensei had died, she approached them with obvious curiosity, as well as a mix of nonchalance and surprise. Up until then, Hoshoku-sha had been thoroughly convinced that Sensei had been the only member of his species. Yet when they started to speak his language as well, she simply accepted them as being the same as Sensei. Without much delay, they finally talked her into accompanying them ‘home’ as they called it, which she promptly did, as she had no reason to refuse them. The group consisted of two men and two women, whose names she once knew but had forgotten after losing contact with them. After witnessing her physical feats for the first time, they introduced her to a manager and trainer of MMA fighters in the room of Japan, who was apparently a friend of one of the women.
She did not know much about what happened then as the entire change in ‘life’ had just completely knocked her out of her senses. Cities, humans, food... everything was far too much for her, to a point where she just switched off her brain and let others do and tell her everything. It was utterly confusing and alien to her and she did not know what to even do with this species. So, when the manager finally told her to ‘punch that person’, she did so without a moment’s hesitation... and immediately shattered her first opponent’s ribcage with something she would have considered to be a fairly light jab. The occurrence turned into a complete ordeal, leading to several processes that ended in her being deemed unable to make proper judgments. This in the end lead to her being turned into a mental asylum, which she promptly escaped from when people attempted to confine and stick things into her body.
Her fleeing led her straight into the arms of one Sigmeyr McMillan, a magus from Atlus that had been observing her movement since the very instant she had shattered a man’s ribcage with a love-tap in a fight he had been watching. He not only hid her from the authorities, but also allowed her to move into the institution he was working in, to protect her and allow for a lifestyle adapted to somebody of her... qualities. Of course he did not tell her that he was effectively researching her as one would a rare animal, but that was of no consequence to her either way, as long as he told her that he did not wish her harm or ill. Since then she was located in Chaldea, as not only a form of security force, but also a provisional master, after having proven her compatibility and ability to be one. Now while she would not go so far as to say that she ‘knows’ what these people are and do, she at least switched on her brain again, if only to the degree necessary to get around. So... that’s her life up until now... what the future may hold? Who knows...

Hoshoku-sha Rokushiki can by no means be compared to either a normal human, or a magus of any institution. If anything, she would classify as an unconscious spell-caster unable to actually cast spells, while however retaining the ability to enact miracles through mere breathing. In other words, Hoshoku-sha is a person born with the natural way of breathing and walking and a walking catalyst for miracles. Her circuits are of the lowest quality and quantity, as she never truly activated them in the sense that magi do. Instead they merely serve as a form of transportation system that moves her energy through her body. Rokushiki’s “thaumaturgy” if one wants to call it such, is in effect nothing other than an internal Martial Art foundation, turned into something inherently inhuman. Her movements and abilities have nothing to do with those of actual humans and other than the basics the difference between what is feasible and what is unrealistic is extremely blurry to her. In essence, her physical abilities are mostly bound to what she herself considers ‘possible’ by the standard of her imagination. In other words, she turns the ridiculous into normality, simply because she has no real semblance of normality, other than herself. For all intents and purposes, Hoshoku-sha Rokushiki can be considered a Superhuman Normal created by her own suspension of disbelief. The style she bases her ideas on is mostly concerned with spirals and ripples, as she perceives movement, especially that of energy, in this manner. In essence, the mere act of breathing, in her case, is a miracle comparable to average level thaumaturgy in its own right. She is, so to speak, a human as they were before mankind’s advance into civilization. She is a being with a truly powerful soul, whose imagination gives rise to miracles, merely by ‘thinking’ them possible.

Quantity: D
Quality: C
Composition: Spiral
Elemental Affinity: None
Attribute: Force
Name: Kokyū Hohō:: Breathing and Walking – Natural Nature Interference
Spell Rank: C
Effects:Being not only born with the proper way of Breathing and Walking, but also having trained martial arts in an environment completely untouched by humans, Hoshoku-sha developed a body whose mere basic functions, work in a way completely beyond anything that would be considered ‘human’. Her lung capacity stands in absolutely no relation to her actual size, her senses are as sharp as those of a beast of prey and her physical abilities beyond anything even the strongest modern human could wish to accomplish. Leisurely jumping several meters into the air is just one example of her ridiculous physical feats, as she possesses enough strength to casually snap a full grown tree with a low-kick. In much the same way, Hoshoku-sha could easily keep up with a car racing at 60 miles per hour and can withstand physical trauma far beyond human capability. Namely, while a normal person would usually be killed even by a bear’s love-tap, she could take a strike at full force head-on and would not feel more impeded than a modern human that got punched by one of his peers. Needless to say, her own strikes possess enough power that she could kill a bear with a bare-handed punch to the head or chest, crushing either its skull, or heart in a single blow, even without using her specialized techniques. In short, her physical parameters are comparable to those of a low tier servant, remaining roughly at an E rank in all of them. However, while a servant would be at a 10, the level of her average strength rests roughly at 7-8. She can however temporarily push herself through sheer effort, to a level ranging from 12-16, in rural environments.
Name: Kumakirã:: The Inverse Spiral – Bearkiller
Spell Rank: C+
Effects:The name giving ‘Bearkiller’ is a technique Hoshoku-sha developed, almost exclusively, for the sake of killing bears in one strike, no matter where she hit them. In order to accomplish this, she simply thought that pulling the bear’s body towards one point, would surely kill it and following that notion, along with the feeling and sound of both the wind, as well as her blood and her energy when it rushed through her body, she came to the conclusion that she simply had to have her punch pull in the air towards one point, by creating a spiral with her body and focusing it in her strike. This spiral would then lead towards its centre, where everything would be collected and crushed. Needless to say, she succeeded.... far better than she’d thought. In effect this single punch, sends a ripple of energy in a spiral through her body, both physically (through her muscles) as well as spiritually, until it manifests in a miracle of exceedingly powerful and destructive nature interference. In practise, it allows her to create something akin to a singularity in a space of an average person’s height, over a range of roughly ten meters. Naturally, anything caught within this spiralling destruction, will be spontaneously crushed and torn apart, while pulled towards the spiral’s centre. In essence... it makes really, really large holes in practically everything, by pulling imploding it. Its raw destructive power could surpass even some A rank spells used by magi, it is however nothing more than a purely physical attack. The only drawback is that of the bears she hunted there was barely ever more than 40% left. Needless to say this punch puts an incredible strain on her arm, making this attack something of a trump card to her. She can use it four times within a day; however the fourth time would already put such a strain on her arm that she would be unable to use it for another attack of equal level. If she did, she would literally rupture her own arm in the process.
Name: Shukuchi:: Open Spiral – Reduced Earth
Spell Rank: B
Effects:
Following a similar principle as Kumakirã, her version of Shukuchi creates a form of refraction, comparable to a sudden discharge of ‘force’ into a direction, determined by her channels. In effect she sends a ripple through her body, yet instead of spontaneously forming something akin to either a vacuum or a singularity, it merely discharges energy in a spiralling motion, comparable to a turbine. What this means is, that by channelling force in her lower body and ejecting it through her leg through muscle contraction and energy flow, she is capable of pushing herself off at insane speeds, regardless of whether she has a solid surface below her feet or not. The speed at which this occurs lies at roughly 80m/s in horizontal movement, or 40m/s in vertical movement. She can however determine the actual distance travelled and stop prematurely. While it still possesses enough force to shatter the ground below it, there is no actual need for a solid ground for this to function, as she could merely kick herself off of thin air, as the move is closer to a jet burst or turbine function, rather than an exhibit of raw physical power. While it will wear her out rather quickly if performed in succession, it is still much easier on her body than Kumakirã for example, so she can manage roughly eight jumps within a single encounter. By ejecting the force through her abdomen instead, it can also dub as a defensive ‘burst’ of energy, to ward off projectiles or attackers that wish to close in, however that is not its main use. Even so it would allow her to block attacks of roughly a C rank, but would consume one of her uses for this encounter all the same.
