Rin’s haggard response to Natasha’s musings on her potential love interests earnt a smug smirk from the blonde; clearly getting exactly the response she was hoping for – ah, if only she could see right now; surely it’d be an especially amusing sight. While she’d been otherwise a bit confused by Grace’s dismissal of her guesses regarding Druidism, Natasha was easily distracted by the fruits of her labour. It at least seemed that Grace and Rin were of similar minds when it came to Merlin, but she couldn’t care less herself for the rougher types like Chulainn and EMIYA that Rin mentioned. Of course, she’d keep that to herself...
The thought of Rin being Merlin’s student certainly intrigued Natasha, and how idly she dismissed the fact she’d had a Servant before made the blonde frown – that wasn’t something minor, was it? Of course, she wasn’t gonna let her half-hearted compliments be wasted… not without biting back, of course. ”Flattery? I assure you I was being quite honest, ufufu. You’re my type, so… credit where credit is due, my dear.” purred the lady idly, just all too eager to hear the magus squirm some more. She had a girlfriend, so she wasn’t quite so intent, but… smothering the huffy girl seemed like it’d be awfully fun, too.
While Rin continued, Natasha eagerly continued to chow away; swiftly cleaning her tray with distressing ease; licking her lips with satisfaction. And right on time, too; as Rin asked her question regarding her magecraft. ”Oh! Well, my magecraft is – err, it’s not very good. My parents didn’t really teach me, so I’ve just picked up this and that. However, I’ve been around Chaldea for a long time because I have a very special talent~” began the Russian happily, all too glad to brag about herself – especially after Rin had flattered her, too! ”Ah, it’s my appetite, you see? I can store mana from what I eat, so I’m a very good battery. Good at transferring it too! So, if you ever need a recharge, I would be happy to help. Hence why Chaldea keeps me around. Though, that’s why my figure tends to fluctuate a lot…”
With her eager explanation given, Natasha gently floated away again to prepare a second tray; soon sitting down once more with a bright smile as she began to pick away at her meal – well, it was merely the calm before the storm as she got a feel for its shape and position. Thank goodness she had a fine sense of smell, or it’d be impossible for her to chow down like this. ”Not as exciting as someone chasing a True Magic or… not talking to animals, I guess; but I’m happy to help. People seem to enjoy the experience, in any case… ufufu.”

Rin did indeed find Natasha’s magical trait rather unfulfilling, however it did catch her attention as to how something like that would work. The concept of a magical battery would be interesting indeed, and quite useful for those who dabbled in mana heavy spells. Taking another sip of her tea, she noticed the blond frowning at the dismissal of any topic surrounding the fifth war, but Rin felt that it was for the best at least for the time being. So much had changed and seeing Archer again had made certain memories of the Heaven’s Feel hurt where they had not pained her in years. Rin watched the Russian gloat away to get yet another helping of foods, the rumors she had heard before certainly weren’t mistaken, and she could probably even eat a horse if she wanted to! Rin couldn’t help but chuckle at such a ridiculous thought, though she could appreciate the quality selection of mages CHALDEA had put together.
As the blind glutton took her seat once more, Rin offered her a light nod as she had already orchestrated a proper bit of flattery, a Tohsaka can’t be bested so easily after all. “I find it rather interesting to be rather honest, I mean there are mages out there who can’t even comprehend how magic truly works, though I won’t call yours a magical trait as much as it seems like you’re a vessel of some sorts. However,” Rin offered her a slight wink, hoping that would give her the edge in this little teasing game of theirs, “I suppose even I can use a fill up of mana at times, and you said I was quite your type after all hoho~” Rin teased as she stuffed another chunk of steak in her mouth, once again savoring the juicy flavors it fulfilled as some of the red liquid streamed down her chin and dribbled lightly onto the table. Rather than licking it off however, Rin demonstrated her poise as a lady and gave it one clean wipe with her napkin. Her next question however forced a hot blush upon her face, “err if you don’t mind me asking..how MUCH can you eat exactly?”

Grainne continued to listen intently to what the two other women were talking about as she continued to eat what was on her plate. She may have regretted eating so much, on the other hand it was nice to eat something that wasn’t her own cooking or her grandmother’s personal preferences (traditional Irish food got dull to cook after a while). The idea of someone storing mana in such a manner was interesting, naturally having as much mana as possibly was good that was what every magus family out there strived for. Her own family did, the Tohsaka’s probably did too, but Natasha’s seemed to come at a price, in her case it was the loss of her eyesight. As someone whose whole thing relied on vision and the ability to see, it was something the brunette found genuinely horrific, perhaps Natasha didn’t feel the same way and perhaps Rin wouldn’t see it in the same light but to Grainne even leaving her familiars behind with her grandmother had left her partially blind in ways she hadn’t been before.
Totally lost in the idea of losing one’s eyesight she only managed to tune back in once mana transfer was mentioned, causing her to almost choke on her food. She certainly hoped they weren’t going to do anything of the sort! Especially in that manner. How did two women even…? She shook those thoughts from her head, unwilling to dwell on them for any longer than she possibly could. Besides, all she could really do in this case was just…be perplexed in all honesty. Was that what friends did? Mana transfer? No, of course not that’d just be awkward as heck. “I thought Natasha said she had a girlfriend…” Grainne mumbled softly before taking another sip of wine. Why was friend flirting so odd?!
Moving swiftly on. (Damn, that seemed to be her favourite phrase today.)
“I have to admit, I am rather curious.” And amazed at how Chaldea could afford to keep up with the amount of food Natasha seemed to eat. She arched an eyebrow, somewhat intruiged as to what Natasha would say. Was this her on a good day? A bad day? How big could she get? There were so many questions she wanted to ask. Although some of them did seem a tad rude in hindsight.

Both Rin and Grainne’s reactions to her remarks on the idea of a ‘casual’ mana transfer seemed to get her a bit confused for a moment, before chuckling good-naturedly, waving a hand in her defence. ”Oh, now now; sorry to bring down your hopes, but I’m not quite that forward, hahah. I’m a lady, after all! No, I was taught a less efficient version of mana transfer, but due to my bizarre circuits it’s not as worthless as it usually is. Just a kiss, you see? Oh, I can use blood like most magus too, but… I’m not really keen on hurting myself, I’m afraid. I suppose I’m not much of a magus like that.” explained Natasha almost a bit bashfully, giving a gentle shrug before returning to her meal. ”…But, thank you for your compliments, Miss Tohsaka. You’re a very kind for one of that Association’s members.”
But with that aside, the remarks on her appetite came to the forefront of the blonde’s mind – especially as Grace spoke up again… she felt like they’d ignored her a little, so she was glad the other girl was still keeping up! But, Natasha would take a moment of hesitation before answering… as she finished cleaning her grandiose plate with a distressing amount of both grace and haste. A dignified glutton was a bit scary… though it at least explained where she got her height from. With her ‘entrée’ finished, she steepled her hands to address the topic with a proud smirk – this was her forte, after all!
”How much can I eat, huh? That sounds like a dangerous question, doesn’t it?” remarked the blonde, gazing mischievously in Rin’s direction – it was at times like this when she did wish she could see. Hearing people get nervous was fun, but seeing it… well, no use worrying about it now. ”Well, I do have to digest food like anyone else, but I suppose when I’m bigger I have an advantage on that front, so… I guess it just comes down to my figure at the time. I really don’t know my upper limit, and I’m not entirely sure if I want to know. Not that I mind my size at all, but… you know. I get stomach-aches like everyone else, despite all this!”
Of course, the lady couldn’t let all that go by without tossing in an extra tease for her audience. ”If you really are that curious, though… well, I’ll eat as much as I can get away with, I suppose; so if you really want to know, you’ll just have to be willing to pay.” added Natasha with a wink, before turning her focus to her drink for a moment. ”...you’d definitely get more mana than you could surely handle after that, but if you want a peck after all that you’ll have to throw in a massage and some pampering too, understand? Ufufu, I might be supporting staff here, but my work comes at a price.”
