It had already been seven hours since their last meeting, meaning it was already eight in the evening and Rin still had yet to find her old servant’s apartment. In hindsight, simply going back and asking him for directions would’ve been the smarter thing to do, but that would’ve killed her teasing façade in front of him. “D-damnit…” She swore under her breath as she traversed up and down the large hallway, looking around desperately for his room or anything that would indicate it. If only she was savvy with computers, then she could find it rather easily as opposed to getting caught up in this predicament.
However, as she saw a piece of orange fox fur blowing by, it dawned on her! He had spent quite some time with her and it would only make sense that they lived together! As much as the thought shook her up, she thought now to use it as her means to finding his house. Recreating the famous scene from Hansel & Gretel (where is Nursery Rhyme when you need her?) she followed the tuffs of orange fur all the way to the door she could only pray belonged to her former partner, Emiya Shirou.
“The porch is clean and,” sniff sniff, “…definitely him…” Rin gave a few hard knowck on the door, her usual look or impatience still on her face as she waited for him to answer.

Things had been...quiet, for the most part since the camping trip. While Tamamo hadn't called on him much since...that...he still acted generally in deference to her whims. He hadn't taken down his home decorations, and had restricted his cooking escapades to his adventures as the Mysterious Chef of Justice. While it was more than a little limiting, it was nothing he minded...at least, until his old Master had blundered back into his life.
So, he had a dinner date planned for Seven. Not that he didn't have plausible deniability that this was a date. He had every reason to want to talk to her more...but Rin seemed rather keen on making sure it had that label. With a sigh, he begins to get some food ready for cooking...while it would be nice to get food cooking, there were two problems with that. At this point, if Tamamo were to barge in, it would only lead to a mild scolding if he were to say he was only doing some basic preparation while waiting for her to come and cook for him. On the other...Rin was not exactly known for being punctual.
His caution proved accurate as the wall clock ticked well past eight, without sight of Rin. At this point he decided he could start cooking...not only did Tamamo nearly always arrive well before this time, but either Rin would be there and have food on it's way soon, or he would eat by himself. He was gratified when, after a short bit of time, he heard a knock on the door. This was good. Tamamo would have simply entered.
"Coming." He calls out, finishing some manipulations of the food to let it sit in the pan for a few minutes, before opening the door. "Hello, Rin. I hope it wasn't too hard to find. Come in." Her look of impatience made it clear that it was hard to find, but that wasn't worth commenting on for now. Besides, she would likely advance the opinion herself.
