This place was all too different from what Drake used to love, not that she hadn't been in snow and ice-filled messes before. On her voyage around the world Drake sailed up the most western coast of America all the way to the north pole to try and find some quick route to go through the massive continent that was not connected to the Spanish routes. It was a horrible part of the journey but they bared through it. She never thought she'd find herself up in such cold weather again. Oh alas, what is there to do, at least she got to not only explore the world again, but the world in different eras! Different epochs! What more glory could there be to raid places like Uruk, Camelot and Babylon! All the riches and treasure was for her taking.
Maybe the king's treasury could use a cleaning ? Only time would tell if they were sent to any of those times...though now everything was still and clam, she had not been needed for any service or received the proper compensation for hiring someone such as herself. Thus she was spending her day outside for once. Dressed in full captains garb she wore as a servant with her fancy hat to boot. The nice plume feather of blue and red sticking out as the hat which almost looked like a face was embroided on it in gold with those ruby eyes.
She took a deep breath and stared out at the vast space that was there to be explored. What else was there to this world than adventure, booze, hanging out with her little idiots and just enjoying all to the fullest. That was the way of Captain Francis Drake, knighted Vice-Admiral of the British navy.
On a peak over-looking the vast cold...Drake couldn't help but stare out at the wide sky above them. " Hmm...maybe I should go adventuring." The pirate as she spoke to herself, there was no other soul other here at the moment....or perhaps there were.
