| [PTabbedContent=Topiltzin Ce Atl Quetzalcoatl
Caster][PTab=Status]Parameters STR | | D | END | | C | AGI | | C | MNA | | A+ | LCK | | B | NP | | EX |
Personal Skills Skill 01 | Natural Body: D | Not really an inherent part of his body, the skill shows how he was able to remain youthful-looking and healthy over the course of his one-hundred and sixty year life. His body is touched by the god he follows, and prevents him from dying a natural death from aging or disease. |
Skill 02 | Charisma: A | Skilled in leading people, at the point of leading a truly great kingdom. He was absolutely beloved of his people in Tollan, to the point where they travelled with him as he attempted to go in exile after his shame, and refused to leave until he left by boat for lands unknown. |
Skill 03 | Divinity: E | Topiltzin was put on a pedestal as such a great priest that he is sometimes referred to as the Feathered Serpent himself. However, he did his best to dissuade such talk, lowering his rank.
|
Skill 03 | High Speed Divine Words: B | Topiltzin’s magic comes from communion with his god, the Feathered Serpent. As such, all magic is based on language for him. While often his prayers are unspoken, the act of speaking the words can allow for spells on the level of High Thaumaturgy to be cast at the speed of Single-Action spells.
|
Class Skills Skill 01 | Territory Creation: A | Able to designate an area as a Temple, superior to a workshop, where the impossible becomes possible for the magus. His considerable skill with healing is enhanced to the point where he can seem to revive the dead, so long as there is even the faintest hint of life, his Reinforcement is enhanced to the point where his allies are nigh indestructible, and he can damage opponents by affecting their own body processes in a similar manner to his healing. |
Skill 02 | Item Creation: E | Topiltzin was not fond of creating items with magic, preferring to grow the power of science and create things with the tools of the world itself. As such, he cannot create anything inherently magical, focusing on more practical methods. |
Noble Phantasm | Aspect of the Feathered Serpent: Embodiment of Quetzalcoatl | Rank: EX | Type: Anti-Unit (Self) | The Feathered Serpent god that he was high priest of, and very often confused for over the course of his existence and into the future. While it could not be said that they were the same being. The feathered serpent is not the most powerful god in Mesoamerican culture, but by far the most present, featuring in several different creation myths and mythological stories, and due to Topiltzin's accomplishments, has a sphere of life, knowledge, and healing that lay beyond what his bounds originally were.
His faith in the Feathered Serpent and his own natural skill allowed him to do great things in life, and the connection he fostered with the god allows him to draw on a fraction of the Deity's strength in times of great need. The activation of this Noble Phantasm causes his body to shift and shape into the image of his God, where his magical powers both grow immensely more powerful, and he has full access to devastating destructive magic that he eschews in life. It has the effect of increasing his Mana to EX, without limit, and grants his skill in High Speed Divine Words to A++, allowing spells to be cast with but a breath. It also allows him access to a full array of purely offensive spells that he normally does not have, along with the inherent ability to manipulate wind and electricity.
While invoking the power of his God in this way would normally be something against his Code, the different goals of his summoning makes that less of an issue. While he would refrain from using it in a competitive War, to defend the continuation of the world is something noble that Quetzalcoatl would endorse. He is still sparing with it, but no longer requires the use of a Command Spell to activate. |
| The Holy Self-Sacrifice: Blood of the Priest-King | Rank: C | Type: Anti-Unit (Self) | Topiltzin's blood. Used as a replacement sacrifice to quell the rampant and distasteful human sacrifice of the Toltec Civilization, it has been crystallized with great restorative powers. Drinking it can cure poison or disease, and spreading it on someone increases healing and reinforcement magic invoked upon the target by two ranks.The only wounds that aren't affected by it are those caused to access the blood by Topiltzin himself. It is a passive Noble Phantasm that requires no activation.. |

[PTab=Profile]Character Details 1 Height / Weight : 5' 0" / 96 Ib.
Source : Florentine Codex
Home Region : Mesoamerica
Alignment : Neutral Good
Gender : Male
Character Details 2 - Warlike Beginnings Topiltzin was born as the firstborn son of the King of the Toltecs, Mixcoatl, likewise named after a god that he supposedly adheres to and takes power from. He was conspired against from a young age, targeted by brothers who had eyes on the throne. He eludes their attempts to kill him, and, after they kill their father in a power grab, he calls to the Feathered Serpent for the power to bring the murderers to justice, and receives a blessing to augment his magical knowledge.
Character Details 3 - Founder of Tollan After he revenged himself on his traitorous siblings, he ascended to the throne of the Toltec people. Moving the capital to Tollan, he abandons the traditional practice of human sacrifice, creating a priesthood that perform ritual self-sacrifice to appease the gods without the need for death. With his Serpent Cult, he transforms Tollan from a tiny village into a magical utopia, a glistening beacon of progress and peace.
Character Details 4 - Failure and Shame However, his practices and beliefs brought him enemies. He was brought low, not by the dagger or the sword, but by the bottle. A celibate and abstinent man who never partook of physical pursuits, he was offered an alcoholic drink by an enemy, who was magically disguised as a friendly old man. Debasing himself, he fled Talloc in shame, a failure to his ideals and people, in his mind. He left, and as his people followed him, he ordered them to build new cities, and to serve as guideposts for the other people in the area, who became the Maya and Aztec, and instruct them on how to follow the Feathered Serpent.
Character Details 5 - Once and Future King Eventually, he reached the ocean, and, constructing a ship, left for parts unknown. He left with a promise, that he would eventually return, to rebuild his treasured city once he mastered his religious problems and his people had true need for him once again. People claimed to be of his kin when assuming kingship for centuries into the future, up until the invading army of Hernando Cortez used his legend to mislead the people into a faith in him he did not deserve. Needless to say, they lacked the humanity and empathy of the Priest-King.
