Muramasa, as usual, was doing his own thing. Unburdened by what was going on, he was doing what he had said he would do, clear a path to the top. His way of doing so? Clear the staircase leading up, massacring everything he came across on his way that looked halfway like an enemy. Since the stairway was pretty narrow, he doubted he would miss anything, but several more servants were with Ai and were looking after her, even though they were definitely taking their time. Not that it mattered much, Muramasa was smiling. The kind of psychopathic smile someone had while blood was spraying through the air freely and swords were littering as much as corpses. His rate of creation had slowly been raised as he made his way up, getting used to his new powers and feeling stronger, he felt how his swords became more powerful as well, his spirit raised seeing it and allowing himself to let loose a little. Unknowing that it was because he was letting loose that he was now taking in more power by the spirit residing in him while also letting it run free a little.
He also started to wonder if he maybe would be able to create a longer lasting variant. Something that would be noteworthy in this age... or any age. After all, the materials were a given, now that he knew magic existed and that there was access to earlier time periods. What could hold him back from using those materials and... Make something new? Slashing into another ghoul, he felt that the people down there were taking too much of a time, a tinge of impatience tainting his thoughts. He did not really know how far up he had gone by now, but it seemed like it was high enough to warrant a look behind. Jumping away from three ghouls, he broke away from the fight, feeling refreshed for leaving that fight to the next time. Jumping in between stairs, he quickly reached the place he had gone up at, the entrance to the staircase of the tenth floor. Walking out, he brushed over his sullied clothes and moved his fingers through the black and red hair he had now, dyed from all the blood. Wiping out most of the blood, he saw Ai and her entourage still sitting there, berserker and the blue knight missing.
Ai was just regaining herself from something and stuttered something before she staggered to her feet. Muttering something or another, it was clear, she would not be able to do much of anything in her state. Sighing, Muramasa grinned and like before, picked Ai up into his arms. Was it just him or was she shivering like leaves in the wind? Looking over to Ce Atl, he said: "Hmm, Ce Atl, could you see to her healing while we move on? Otherwise we will never get anywhere. At least until she can move normally again, but I think some of us are growing impatient and want to see some results. We can either take the stairs or move along Goldies path, I donĀ“t know which you would prefer." Looking at Ai, he wondered why it always ended up with him carrying the master around in missions. Not that it mattered much to him, it was easy work and aside from once his track record was quite good with finishing missions with Masters intact. "No worries Ai, no one is blaming you but yourself. So get your act together and get this over with so we can go home. I have to plan something after all." Smirking as he said it, it sounded more like he was going to scheme a nefarious trap or something than a simple blueprint for a weapon he wanted to craft. Once the group decided which path to follow, he would follow whoever took the lead.
