| [PTabbedContent=Sengo Muramasa Saber/Caster][PTab=Status]Parameters Personal Skills Skill 01 | Divinity: E | After acquiring a divine spirit from the gods, it fused with the swordsman and they became one being. Serene on the outside, but swirling on the inside as well as through his worksmanship. This has ranked down the divine spirit to such a level it has barely any divinity and yet raised the normal man to the lowest level of divinity. While in battle his divinity is raised.
|
Skill 02 | Mental Pollution: A | From a young age, Muramasa was someone who only listened to himself and never bend his knee to anyone about any opinion. This showed even in front of the gods when he asked for a boon and would not accept anything until he got the bloodthirsty spirit he infused in all of his blades. Which only created a higher level of misunderstanding between himself and everyone else, until he began to teach others his ways and polluted them with his teachings as well. This skill makes Muramasa unable to agree to any argument easily or term of a contract at all, if he does not like it. Even if it would mean having to face death or pursuit. It also grants an incredibly heightened protection against any kind of mental interference. He has grown even less able to understand anyone, giving him the ability to deny even more suggestions, extreme mental interference and even resist an order given with a command seal if it is not in his favor without any repercussion. This happened due to actually fighting, his broken despairing sadistic mind spiraling deeper.
|
Skill 03 | Innocent Monster: B | Muramasa was only a normal man in feudal japan, but even as he was alive, he was vilified until truth and lie mixed and could not be discerned anymore from each other. By now he has become an evil master swordsman who received a cursed spirit and infused his swords with them. Driving everyone with one of his swords to madness, suicide or murder. The more he drives people to madness the more his body will turn into that of the bloodthirsty spirit and his mental pollution will raise. |
Skill 04 | Disengage: B | Having been able to outrun a whole country for close to a century, he is used to not getting into fights. This means that once he sees that he is going to lose a battle, he can not only run away from it but wholly avoid it, giving him a boost to his AGI. If he was in a battle and suffered damage or a debuff, they will be healed and he will be reset to the condition he was in before the battle. |
Skill 05 | Item Construction: A+++ | Having been blessed or cursed by the gods as per his wish, Muramasa is able to create blades out of thin air with a minimum amount of mana. His skill having become so great in the trying times of japans wars that he could create a masterwork from seemingly thin air. These blades can easily rival any kind of weapon and since they are made of mana are able to hurt even other servants and divine beings, being comparable to a Noble phantasm of B rank at maximum, each carrying an effect comparable to mad enhancement rank B with a focus on raising bloodthirstiness in exchange for all reason and inhibitions. This is limited to swords and will slowly eat away at a person or servants lifeforce and mana until they die from the effects. After dying or being killed by such a blade, the spirit that was infused with the sword will return to Muramasa and add to his mana. The only people not affected by the insanity are he himself, his master and someone who is resistant to mental interference of this level or affected already by an even higher level. On the level of small wonders, he can now work on NP´s up to A rank to repair or lift any status ailment they have. The swords he can create normally have a raised mental interference of A+ with the same status upgrades as before, but creating them now costs next to nothing and he can forge many at once without the loss of any of their strength. |
Skill 06 | Bloodlust: E | A nearly palpable feeling of Muramasa wanting to spill blood he emits. At this level only extremely veteran warriors or fine senses can feel the dread he emits when he fights, but with no effect. It has barely any effect and can rather be seen as the opposite of charisma, driving off anyone rather than pulling them close or raising morale. At this level he also has no control over it and it can be seen as a curse. The most it can drive off is vermin and small animals, making weak beings hesitate for a moment before approaching. |
Class Skills
Skill 01 | Magic Resistance: A | As he houses a divine spirit already, he can barely be affected by any kind of magic, this skill was raised by his mental pollution as well. |
Noble Phantasm Link to picture | Satsubatsu Noroi (Bloodthirsty Curse) | Rank: B | Type: Anti-Fortress | The masterwork under masterworks Muramasa created and the sword he used in his contest with Masamune, his rival swordsman. While Muramasa´s sword cut through everything, Masamune´s cut through only what it needed to. In effect, this sword is nothing less than a curse. As soon as Muramasa designates something as a target, he can point it at it and damage will be applied as if the target had been cut by the blade. Armor does not apply, only resistance against curses, not magic in general, can lessen the effect. As well as quick movement or getting out of his sight/obstructing it before he activates the ability, although dodging still needs to follow since the curse will fly in a straight line at quite the speed. Aside from that, since it is a cursed blade, it can even hurt the highest divines and is able to cut through even forces or magic, rendering them useless or cutting them apart. Any normal slash can only be blocked by resistance to curses or another noble phantasm weapon. If lost or broken, any other blade created or turned by Muramasa can be changed into the satsubatsu noroi. There can only be one SN at all times that is designated by Muramasa, any other will turn into a useless sword without any effect. The sword has no sheath to put it back into, even if it drank blood. |
Optional NP Image here | Reforge | Rank: B++ | Type: Anti-Unit | As one of the greatest swordsmiths in history and granted even with a divine spirit, Muramasa is not someone who accepts man works aside from his own, feeling the need to reforge other weapons into his own and something useful. Muramasa is able to instantly change any kind of weapon, but only with a bladed edge into one of his swords. All of them will be infused with a little bit of his spirit and will carry some of his mental pollution and B rank like effects comparable to Mad enhancement of the same level. A normal human wielding a sword like this will for a short time be able to hurt a divine spirit, but will die soon after from the drain and madness, servants will be slowly drained and constantly give some mana to muramasa. The part of muramasa´s spirit returning is strengthened to him and boosting his mana. Unlike his item creation, this version allows him to converse and order afflicted instead of just making them berserk completely. The only people not affected by the insanity are he himself, his master and someone who is resistant to mental interference of this level or affected already by an even higher level. Noble phantasm weapons will take a full turn of contact with either Muramasa or a sword he handles before they turn into one of his weapons, but the mind control effect will be applied right away, slowly getting stronger the longer they handle the weapon. Affected by his raised ability to create items, he can now even reforge anything that can be perceived as a weapon into a sword as long as it is physical and the process now carries the same mental interference of A+ as item creation.
All the alterations caused by this NP can be seen as an added layer to the weapon. This means that although they can be performed to any noble phantasm, Servants with knowledge on how to dispell curses will be able to undo these changes |
NP Image here | True Creation | Rank: E-A | Type: Anti-Fortress | Having reached the highest peaks of craftsmanship, he has learned how to really affect the world nowadays, rejecting the rules to a degree by just existing and working, just as he has always done. This means he can craft new real noble phantasms by collecting rare and powerful materials and then forging them with an idea in mind. This is a very painstaking process for powerful weapons, but it can produce weapons with similar natures to ancient mythological or legendary weapons without the need of age or legend. |

A story of swords and lies, both cutting The real masamune was born in japan at a time of turmoil, great droughts and death around every corner. He grew up and learned the trade from a famous swordsmith who taught him well. Soon enough, he gained fame for himself as being someone who could masterfully create swords from scraped together materials that could cut and were not only glorified sticks. But since fate is a cruel mistress, chance was that people would die by his widespread swords and so even royals and retainers. One such lord, Tokugawa Ieyasu lost several friends and family to blades of Muramasa and began spreading lies about a curse. But any PR is PR and so Muramasa´s swords spread even wider and gained even more stories of bloodthirstiness. It is said that Muramasa either lived well beyond 100 or that there were three generations of him. But none the less the most famous story could not have happened anyway. Muramasa and Masamune could never have met since Masamune lived long before that time.
And here is where history and legend converge, right from the start. Legend says that from youth on, muramasa showed little interest in anything but bloodshed and swords, learned the trade and then began to craft swords. But never satisfied with them until he began to pray and ask the gods for a boon to make his swords truely legendary. Such was granted and he himself became the host of a spirit of such bloodthirst that every blade he touched turned people to suicide or bloodshed. To such an extent that the saying was that once a sword of his left the sheath it could not be put back until it tasted blood. Either that of someone else or that of the wielder. But legend goes even further and says that Muramasa was such an awful person, he could never understand anyone else and as such became a teacher of smithing and of his doctrines. Spreading his evil even to others, directly responsible for many deaths through his blades and said to be able to come and collect his weapons wherever they lay to give them to the next innocent. Fueled by the deaths his blades caused and living such a long life that it was unnatural just as the speed and proficiency he created his blades with. Being met with spite wherever he went. The only person he had respect for and even agreed to a friendly contest with was masamune and so the both forged their masterworks. The blade of Masamune only cutting what they needed to, whereas Muramasa´s cut everything, the air, the water, an innocent fish and everything meeting it´s path. A truely death bringing tool. He was also said to be one of the many who were indulging in the despicable hobby of testing out his sword on live targets and even being a great swordsman on par with other legends, having many followers who were just as mentally disturbed as him. Serene as the sword, furious as the storm In a strange way, the person that is Muramasa can be oddly comforting to be around. Unfazed by what is happening around him, he is stoic and a good listener if you don´t expect him to answer and help with your troubles. Which will turn it into a totally different kind of discussion since he won´t spare you with what he thinks you should do and his twisted view of the world. Viewing everyone as just a vessel to carry his swords and his advice mostly consisting of how to get strong or mentally broken. The perfect seedbeds for his swords to fester on. Even though his alignment is evil, he can be convinced or rather convince someone else against a price to help the world in return for something. At the moment agreeing to help in exchange for prolongued life while still spreading his corruption. If not for advice or asking him for something he is not willing to give, he can be a pleasant person and is quite polite and nice as long as he sees a sense in it.
He actually dislikes carrying around swords and just summons them when necessary out of thin air. Saying that as a smith it is unbecoming of him to actually wield a sword to such an expert degree. Rather wanting others to do his work and not above looking for strong people and give them a sword to make them go wild. Since he is kind of bound to the headquarters for now. His confidence in himself is none the less high enough to shoot right over arrogance and become such an overconfidence that it boosts himself even more. As he can not say that he is not just like everyone else, he tries to better himself every day too, training his swordsmanship and looking for fights. Not to the death anymore, but none the less until the first drop of blood.
The spirit inside of him is still stirring and from time to time surfaces in one way or another, constantly speaking to Muramasa, who never answers, driving the spirit even more insane. That is for now, as he gains notoriety and kills, he may once again be slowly loosening his grip on the spirit, but for now, he is satisfied with the current state of affairs. Even though he sees humans mostly as just weapons or beings who could be weapons, he is also only a man and can not totally deny a good looking person or a nice piece of art. He already agreed upfront with himself, that he will at least acknowledge his masters orders and consider them at least, although he might just follow them with a surprising end or follow up. Even though he is rarely to never fazed by a surprise or something new, he is still quite curious about them and will try to find out about new things as much as he can. After all, even though his mind is accustomed due to the ritual to the now, there are still some things that are difficult to understand and new technology being developed every day. Being in despair a little that such machinery did not exist back then with which he could have spread his swords all over the world easily. Appearance Muramasa was born with green eyes, but after he gained the spirit of bloodlust, his eyes have become red with a black pattern. He rather likes traditional clothing, so even if he were to time travel or run around base in the now, he would most likely wear it, if he does not find another clothing he finds even more interesting. Always on the lookout for something that pleases him. He keeps his hair short, except for his bangs, which he has grown long as well as a ponytail in the back, each wrapped into a long piece of cloth. His slender figure betrays his real form, since as a blacksmith his body is very muscled and even though he used mostly his extreme agility and speed to craft, he kept his body in such a form that he has his swords in too. A slender appearance, ready to cut or hammer at a moments notice. He likes shallow symbols and thus most of his clothing will have something like it on them. Not always he knows or wants to know what they mean, but it is more to make people talk to him or yell at him about something, so he can confront them about it. Miscellaneous Has a dislike of fish dishes, likes to drink, could have been an assassin just as well if not for his legend becoming more fantastic every day, is fascinated by technology and does not mind looking goofy while testing them out, would like to have glasses, since he could have needed them back in the days, but now to proud to either ask or get them himself, secretely having a stash of them [/PTab][/PTabbedContent={width:430px;tab-alignment=center;}] |
