It was her first time ray-shifting, so when she suddenly found herself standing at the outskirts of a ruined area made of... large block-like ruins of stone and steel, Hoshoku-sha could not help but frown a little bit. This was kind of strange... but it did not really play that large a role. She could, after all, notice the familiar smell of greenery and bark in the distance, hinting at a more comfortable... or at least comforting, location than here. Clad in her typical MMA clothing, along with knee-high boots that went over into protectors, she tall woman scaled the walls of a crumbled building with a cat's grace, her lean muscles just barely betraying her movements at all, as she moved about without even stirring the air.
She incessantly smelled the air, her gaze wandering restlessly, with a distant, almost cold disposition radiating from her animalistic, predatory set of eyes. After having figured out their rough direction, Hoshoku-sha checked the bottom pocket of her shorts for the goggles, before jumping down the building as quickly and silently as she had scaled it, approaching the servant assigned to her with a blank expression, staring at him wordlessly, while her pelvic muscles twitched slightly. At the same time her head tilted slightly to the left, while the heaving movements of her chest sent faint ripples through her body as she kept breathing calmly.
Their task was to move into the area, wherein she was supposed to wear these goggle things. Scanning it should be easy enough, if they really were just supposed to patrol the territory. She had done that in the past, to find out what and who left and entered her territory... maybe this 'field' thing worked in a similar way. But that was none of her concern, the other one should do whatever it was he would do with a Bounded Field. Her job was just to keep looking around and if necessary kill the big black things... shades was what they had called them.
Without further waiting for the servant to react to her unspoken instructions, Hoshoku-sha put on her goggles, her limbs dangling lightly as she went into a slightly lowered position. It was a little strange to have these things visible to her so... physically, but she would get used to it. Feeling its flow was something natural to begin with... so they maybe just made it easier to notice in general. Really strange these things. But well... finally back in a good environment where there were not so many people. She could not help but feel much more at ease at the precept of entering a forest once more, feeling her muscles tighten in anticipation. Her expression of course remained a slightly grumpy, solid stone-mask, with her preying eyes hushing into every direction the moment even the faintest sound reached them. Time to start this... if the servant wanted to.

Appearing once more in the destroyed city, Ce Atl could immediately tell that something was different. There were hints of life in this cold, dead landscape. That was something he had never sensed before from this landscape. While in his mind, he was aware that there was greenery off in the distance, it hadn’t registered to him spiritually until he could feel it on the wind. While it was irrelevant for the sake of the mission, it gave him some hope. If life carried on even in such bleakness, then could things really be so bad?
The Master he was supporting in this mission was certainly...unusual. The way she moved and communicated...It wasn’t really in a way people did. In his time as the Priest-King, he had seen feral humans and attempted to help them acclimate to life in Tollan, but even he did not always succeed. His heart went out to this individual, but right now, larger concerns were present, as they always seemed to be when he was on assignment.
“If you can understand my words, then I hope we shall be able to get along. Our objective lies within the forest, but you must be willing to stop when I tell you. Powerful magic can harm you otherwise.” The bounded field that was explained to him...he should be able to disrupt it without much effort, but being caught by surprise could be exceptionally dangerous.
Without a word, his Master heads off in the correct direction. He got the feeling that there was an understanding, which was about as much as he could have hoped. Following behind her as she climbs up and over the rubble, Ce Atl and his Master make their way to the forest. Before the city fully ends and trees take over, however, Ce Atl winces, as he sees a jagged piece of metal scratched his leg.
“Give me but a moment..” He says as he begins to heal the wound. However, before it is completely closed, he thinks better of it. Taking some of the blood, he reaches out to his Master, and dabs it on her neck. All but immediately, a huge, rushing sense of strength and power flows inside his Master. “I hope I did not surprise you, but given I am not, well, the strongest of Servants, I supposed making you strong enough to face the threats ahead was the best course of action.”
The wound on his leg remained: Once his magic was used to heal an injury, the effects of his Noble Phantasm ended. A bit of distraction was more than worth being able to make his Master’s body a part of his Territory, and thus able to take in the full power of his reinforcement magic without strain or preparation.
With that settled, he nods at his Master. “Now, let us be off.”

Content that her master had understood her after all, Hoshoku-sha quietly made her way alongside the servant, before the smell of blood suddenly filled the air, causing her to turn around to the other one quickly, scrutinizing what had just happened. Apparently he had hurt himself a little bit, on a piece of debris. Not sure what to do about it, Hoshoku-sha turned her head around to the 'forest' ahead of them. She had clearly understood him when he had said that it might harm her if she went on ahead on her own, so she instead remained with him.
When he suddenly touched her in the neck, smearing his blood on her, she at first just gave him a curious look, before noticing with surprise that her body felt significantly more powerful than before, despite not even having reached the forest yet. This invigorating feeling was... quite incredible, so with a definitely curious expression, she tilted her head and asked with her low pitched voice:"What did you do?" She had no clue what exactly it was, all she knew was that 'life' had flooded her in a quantity she had never felt or channeled before. It was nothing short of pleasant...
Tapping from one foot to the other, Hoshoku-sha tested her leg's contraction out, to get a grasp of the extent of her new strength... it was, frankly speaking, far more than she had had even in her best days so far. The servant's explanation came right away, with odd words she did not quite get something along the lines of 'sowwy' or something. However, she 'did' know the last thing he said, so without any further delay, her expression became slightly fiercer, as she nodded and headed onwards towards the forest. Still quite in awe over her new-found power, Hoshoku-sha played around a little, jumping up in the air at random, or making quick steps forward, retreating almost in the same movement as she had advanced with.
Practically putting her 'new' body to the test, she then finally halted when they closed in on the edge of the forest... once again she could feel an additional sense of invigoration surging through her, as the familiar scenery blurred out the pointless waste she had accumulated among humans so far. Here... in the forest... things would be alright once more. It was 'home' a possible home at least, if not for this... odd feeling. She could not put her finger on it, yet entering the forest came with its own risk that was little different from staring at a poisonous or otherwise highly dangerous animal. She wanted, but did not want to enter it at the same time...
Looking at Ce Atl, she finally stated:"I feel strange around this. Can I enter savely? This is... unknown to me." Backing off a little, to get behind Ce Atl, Hoshoku-sha left it to him to discern what they'd have to do here... only one thing was sure. This was off; and she would not be the one to spike this trap unless she had somebody to take out the thorn of it. Even then it would be a bad idea... but apparently they had to do this. So it was true that they did have to do this.

Following his Master through the ruined town, he can’t help but smile as he sees her test out her new abilities. Though he did not wish to insult his Master, there was something innocent and childlike about the way she played with the enhancements he gave to her physical strength. He could get used to working with a Master like this, he thought.
As they approach the woods, though, he feels a strange sensation. It wasn’t the boundary field, not yet...but the fact that the miasma of it’s prana extended so far from it’s point of origin boded ill. Whoever set it up was quite powerful. “Proceed cautiously, Master. Make sure to listen, the trap is not here, it is inside the forest. What you feel is merely the mark it leaves on the world...a smell, perhaps.” It was hard to talk to her as he would to someone far younger than she looked, but he thought it may be a good idea. She seemed to react better to simple language.
Entering the forest first, he moves slowly, cautiously. He was beginning to be able to separate the mere overriding presence of the forest from the actual boundary field...it was difficult. He was slowly working to purify the forest from the taint, but the miasma seemed to spread back almost immediately. It was obnoxious, but Ce Atl did not allow himself to lose patience.
“Master, this way. And be careful, I’m sure whoever made this mess will be upset as it notices that we’re here.” To be frank, he was surprised they avoided encountering foes so far...but he was definitely beginning to feel the presence of something ominous, beyond some mere field. Their peaceful journey could not be expected to last forever.

So the true trap was deeper inside... and they were about to head straight for it. From her point of view, that was nothing short of stupid, counterproductive and dangerous, but apparently that was exactly what people demanded of them. People really were strange creatures... however she could not help it, they had said it was necessary, so it was beyond liking or disliking it. Not hesitating any longer, Hoshoku-sha made her way into the forest, listening to the sounds, or the lack of sounds thereof, of the surrounding area. This really was nothing like the forest she had known.
Her nose, following the 'scent' of this area, as Caster had told her, lead her deeper into the forest, the trees becoming thicker. Now she could even hear the occasional noise, sometimes closer to them, sometimes further away. This... there was something dangerous here, probably. Tensing up visibly, Hoshi lowered her stance, ready to dart off the ground at any moment. The odd scent of this field was... most peculiar. She did not like it. The only good thing about this forest was the fact it had plant-life. Finally, Hoshoku-sha's face lost all expression, as a sound entered into her rough range. Without wasting another word, a ripple sent a gentle wave through the semi-ruined, semi fertile ground, as Hoshoku-sha darted off it with barely a sound, closing in on the predatory pursuer of theirs. Her fist met resistance, a shadowy, black mass that ruptured under the strongly reinforced power of her attack, ripping the shade's head to pieces.
Unexpected however, was the fact that it did not stop at this. Instead the Shade lashed at her, which Hoshi responded to by slamming her elbow against the oversized forearm of the creature, before backing off. The odd thing did not seem to mind having lost its head, which Hoshoku-sha could only tilt her head over. She murmured softly, addressing Caster, just too silent to be counted as conversational, usually:"I thought everything needs a head." Yet instead of letting it get to her, Hoshi just used the impression she had gained from smashing the Shades attacking limb, by closing in, then making a sharp curse to the creature's left, tearing off the shade's arm, with a circular, spiralling pushing motion, after turning a palm-strike into a grab, against the creature's shoulder... yes, this did in fact work better.
Not stopping in her assault, she turned to the right with blinding speed, pulling her left leg in a low kick that practically went through the shade's left leg, detonating the place where its knee joint should have been. But... something was off, a single one of these should not have been able to overwhelm a servant, or a master protected by one... right? So why... Turning to Caster, she simply pointed behind him, as to indicate that he should watch his own back, Hoshi herself could only hear another creature similar to this one close in from the right... there were not many, but at least two. Their exact number would likely only come out when they attacked at full strength... or once Caster detected them. She could only go by their movements for now... Ending the overwhelmed shade, by stomping on, then tearing apart its chest with a ripple, Hoshoku-sha Rokushiki straightened up to her full size, watching the surroundings with an attentive, yet utterly indifferent expression.

Caster would have been impressed by the veracity with which his Master tore apart the Shade, were he not suddenly faced by two more of them. Quickly reinforcing himself to the extent he is able, he parries a claw with a spell, forming an icy shield with water condensed from the air, before retaliating with a punch to the creature's center. "Master! We need to keep moving! We have to get to the center and erase the field before I'm overwhelmed..."
As if to punctuate his point, he tries to block another strike from the third shade, and finds his hastily-constructed barrier broken by the beast's claw, and a followup strike leaves him with a gash on his arm. Letting out a short grunt of pain, he shakes it off, healing the injury before blowing the shade back with a burst of compressed air. "This...boundary field, it's interfering with my magic. We'll need to...grk...dispell it before my reinforcement on you is affected..."
Not for the first time, Ce Atl questions whether it was a good thing he was summoned, whether or not in this class. As it stands, however, he can't dwell on such things. If he was what Chaldea believed would succeed in the mission, then he would give it his all...even if he felt far more reliant on his Master than felt appropriate for him. "I don't think I can dispell either magic unless we reach the epicenter. I apologize, but we'll have to continue like this."
