[PTab=Profile] Character Details Height/Weight: 154cm・42kg Source: Arthurian Legends Home Region: England Alignment: Lawful Evil Gender: Female A tyrant that persisted in being heartless. This dragon is a glutton. A Heartless and Tyrannical Arturia Pendragon Differing from the Arturia Pendragon of Arthurian Legends, this Arturia Pendragon is from the Arthurian Legends of an alternate universe. This figure emerged after Lancelot's affair with Guinevere, where Arturia would then find out that this affair's revelation was part of a plan crafted up by the traitors of Camelot. Seeing that there are people who would show disdain to even her rule of sainthood, she changed her rule to a rule of tyranny and quelled all civil unrest, ruling Britain with an iron fist from thereon. However, whether she was the perfect saint or the perfect tyrant, that perfection was what led some reputable knights to leave her. Despite being a perfect king, she was not considered a perfect ruler, for she did not understand human emotions. That doubt planted the seeds of evil, and it wasn't until the exposed affair that the evil flowers bloomed from within. The side of the King of Knights that persists in being heartless. Maybe, the 'ideal king' that King Arthur pursued was something like this after all. Arturia used to contain her own power, but in this condition, she wields all of her powerful magical energy at her disposal without hesitation. Considered to be an unstoppable tyrant comparable to or even greater than Vortigen, no one opposed her for a period of time until the Knights of the Round Table gathered up the courage to betray her and lead the rebellion against her, spearheaded by Mordred and Gawain. Only the black knight Lancelot stayed behind with the tyrant. The rebellion reached the climax in the throne room of Camelot, where everyone but Gawain (who was occupied with Lancelot) fought against Arturia in fierce combat. In the end however, it was Mordred who dealt the final blow to the dark-tainted tyrant, and peace returned to the land of Britain. In her last moments, Arturia questioned if it was the right choice to change paths during her rule and even rule Britain as a heartless tyrant. However, it was too late to change the past, and she decided to stick with this path onto the very end and beyond without any regrets, for this was a necessary burden in reaching the ideal kingship she so admired. Identity Not as King or Knight, But as a Servant Because Arturia's armor was dyed jet black and grew in weight, its defensive power has increased more than normally. On the other hand, it seems like her agility has decreased due to the armor's weight. This disadvantage can be negated by removing her armor to regain her regular speed at the cost of the increased defense she possesses with the armor. Even then, her fighting style of staying still in a spot and launching bursts of lethal magical energy attacks is still her preferred option of combat, even without her armor, acting as a 'stationary railgun'. Thus, the value of her agility is of no concern for her for she rarely makes use of it in combat. The removal of her armor perhaps signifies her throwing away her identity as a knight. She sees herself not as a king or a knight, but as a Servant of the Master who summoned her. When she dons the armor, its value is that of a plate of metal meant to defend her from harm, and not as a symbol of her knighthood. She will do whatever means necessary to achieve victory, no matter how dishonorable and unchivalric it may be. Only the strongest can survive. Path of Evil Towards the Ideal Kingship A behavior without futility, a cold-headed and cold-hearted personality that makes this Arturia seem like a different person from the original, but if one is to carefully come in contact with and get to know her, he or she might notice that what lies at the basis of her character is still the same as the original. For the commonly known Arturia in commonly known Arthurian Legends, she did not fall into the path of evil even once while alive, but she too had doubts, inner conflicts, hatred towards herself and grief towards the surroundings. This figure however is someone who raised such inner issues to the surface of her personality and caused her 'policies' to be the inversion of the original Arturia's 'policies'. There is no change in her goals or ideals themselves. The usual Arturia persisted in being chaste for the sake of her ideals, but this Arturia approves tyrannical rule for the sake of those same ideals. The Dragon's Gluttony Maybe the 'change' in personality happened because her magic reactor went outside the scale. But at any rate, Arturia is a Servant that eats a lot. Few, if any, can match her appetite. Even her food preferences, which could be regarded as an essential aspect of the character known as Arturia Pendragon, have changed: this Arturia spits out cooking with courteous, elaborate, abstruse tastes as bad and chews down large quantities of junk-food as good. Despite being awful eating habits, she herself seems greatly satisfied, so maybe this can be called a form of her happiness. No matter how much she eats, she will never gain weight due to how much magical energy she expends daily simply by existing and letting her magic reactor run wild. The Saber Alter Class It can be said that this Arturia is the original Arturia without any limiters. Even her regeneration ability is off the charts due to her vast mana supply, able to heal even fatal wounds within 10 minutes. It would require the destruction of her head or heart for her immediate death. Even the strongest class, the Saber class, has difficulty containing all of her powers that she has when summoned as a Servant. Thus, a few modifications were made when summoned through the 'FATE' system. Despite her near uncontainable powers that is by literal definition of the word, limitless, there are actually some limitations to her in the form of a breakdown. For example, if Arturia manages to use 4 Excalibur blasts consecutively, she will be left trembling and even paralyzed as a result of overclocking through the multiple usages of her Noble Phantasm. Just like how a factory and its machines can breakdown through malfunctions caused by overworking, it appears that even this dragon can suffer the same malfunction to her system should she not be careful. |
