[ELECTION EVENT DEBATE] Mordred Pendragon VS Grainne

Mordred Pendragon, son of the once and future king, was no stranger to leadership. Groomed for kingship since birth, often handed administrative tasks when her illustrious father was out on campaigns, and a talent for winning the hearts and minds of the people...these were all things that she possessed. While her temperament could find her losing some key audience, she knew that she would be able to do right by the people who lived in Chaldea, to the point that she was willing to give this confounded electoral process a try.

So why was she so damnably -nervous-!?

Taking a steadying breath, she waits in the CHALDEAS room, a central place to the organization....and waits. She'd gotten there early, it seemed...there didn't seem to be much to do other than wait for the appropriate time for it to begin. If only refreshments were provided, and the little water bottles were a welcome distraction, but she didn't want to think about it so much! She just wanted to get this over with already.

Going over her basic bulletpoints in her head was something basic she did. Leadership experience, check. Good at administrative tasks, check. Good with people....maybe leave that one blank for now. Still, what she lacked in patience, she made up for in passion and a desire for the job. While people who knew her previously might think this was just about the ego trip...this was really about living up to the faith her father had in her, renewed and unblemished by past wrongs. The fact that Clarent was able to shine brilliantly once again was a testament to the fact that she had a desire to live a different, better life than she had.

She sighs. "So when's this show gonna get on the road already?"
