Personal Skills Skill 01 | Eye of the Mind (False): A | A natural talent to avoid danger on the basis of an innate 6th sense, intuition, or prescience, where accuracy of instinct has been augmented by experience -- somewhat overcoming the problem of visual obstructions that appear in the course of combat. This ability grants an effect of offering resistance against penalties caused by visual obstructions. The perception of Kojirō's eyes are the best among Servants, able to see through the weapon and style of his opponent when crossing blades only after a few times.
|
Skill 02 | Knowledge of Respect and Harmony: B | Prevents any decrease in the effectiveness of a technique, regardless of how many times it is used against the same opponent. Additionally, Kojirō's attacks cannot be perceived by the enemy. "The eyes grow used to their attacks"; maybe such a phrase is not applicable to one who never unleashes such inferior sword swings, a testament to Kojirō's master swordsman prowess. |
Skill 03 | Vitrification: B+ | A serene state of mind. A mental protection that nullifies mental interference. Also, by limiting his fighting spirit as a martial artist, Kojirō can conceal his presence. |
Class Skills Skill 01 | Magic Resistance: E | This ability grants protection against magical effects. At its current rank, it cannot cancel spells, but magic damage is reduced somewhat. |
Skill 02 | Riding: E | The expertise to ride animals and vehicles. At its current rank, only horses can be rode on. |
Noble Phantasm
| Hiken: Tsubame Gaeshi
| Rank: -
| Type: Anti-Unit Demonic Sword
| A fabled sword technique of the legendary swordsman Sasaki Kojirō that rivals Noble Phantasms, attained only with human techniques made out of pure godlike skill that 'surpasses even Servants.' A special move that simultaneously cuts apart an enemy with three circular slashes. It is a technique where three concurrent arching blades closes on the enemy from all sides to create a prison, allowing no chance for defense or evasion. Seems to be one of the things that can be called a Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon. It starts with a flash from this world, followed by two absolutely simultaneous, over-lapping flashes that disregard the concept of time and space, producing a slash attack that arrives from three different directions by momentarily using the Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon of Zelretch's Second Magic to transcend speed, dexterity, feints, and many other elements. Originally, it was something developed to cut a swallow flying in the sky.
He himself calls it a secret sword technique, but in the eyes of the surroundings it is unmistakably a magic sword. For that is not the work of man. He himself says that it was developed for cutting a flying swallow, but, of course, it is possible to cut a swallow even without a mystic technique such as this. Rather, this is a story about the lack of compromise, and also, how much extreme talent for martial arts was possessed by this swordsman - who reached the blessing of the sword just for such a reason. |
| Monohoshi Zao: Fictional Shadow
| Rank: D | Type: Anti-Unit | An over five shaku long, 150 centimeter, Bitchu Aoe blade. The length defies common sense; it cannot be called 'useful' despite its large range, as almost nobody except Kojirō, having a mastery of the sword exceeding the realm of humans, could even wield it. It is a Noble Phantasm with a less formidable name than his nodachi's real name, representing the misconceptions of him being a fictional Heroic Spirit when in reality, he was a real person in history.
This Noble Phantasm's effect, which is passive in nature, distorts the blade's length into what it is currently: 150 centimeters. His sword's actual length was said to be over 90 centimeters (3 feet). Kojirō wields this 150 centimeter nodachi as if it was a 90 centimeter longsword. Whether the blade is 90 centimeters or 150 centimeters, the godlike skill Kojirō has in swordsmanship allows him to wield either blade without any troubles or differences. It shows that even a real swordsman like him can wield a fictional blade of unrealistic proportions to its fullest potential as if it was his personal blade that he had used throughout his entire life.
There is a speculation that in the hands of the wielder, the swordsman would see his sword as a 90 centimeter nodachi, and the rest of the world would perceive that same sword as a 150 centimeter nodachi instead. The opponents of the swordsman would have to fend off the swift attacks and techniques characteristic of a 90 centimeter sword but instead done in the realistic form of a 150 centimeter sword. It can be akin to a representation of the world perceiving Sasaki Kojirō as a fictional Heroic Spirit and thus they must deal with the characteristics of his fiction, including the fictional properties of his blade. All the while, Sasaki Kojirō, a real Heroic Spirit in reality, can wield his blade as if it bears no fictional qualities in the first place. Hence, Sasaki Kojirō fights with what is real to him, and the world fights against what is fiction to them.

| Bizen Osafune Nagamitsu: Blade of Ganryū
| Rank: A | Type: Anti-Unit | The true name of the sword that Sasaki Kojirō wields, as well as his true Noble Phantasm. It is the only ability in his arsenal that requires an expenditure of mana to use. Its appearance is exactly the same as Monohoshi Zao, and the activation of this Noble Phantasm does not discard his false Noble Phantasm's unrealistic range property. It feels as if the weapon is still Monohoshi Zao, but there is a similar yet distinct aura to Bizen Osafune Nagamitsu that only a master swordsman or martial artist can notice, although just barely.
Sasaki Kojirō is a real person who is fully human, and have even obtained a sword technique that is at the level of magic through human techniques. Bizen Osafune Nagamitsu, made from a renowned human swordsmith, represents the humanity of Sasaki Kojirō that confronts all that is impossible, achieves the impossible, and enters into the realm of the impossible. It is a 'dimension cutting' blade that challenges gods and cuts through anything that are from outside of this world's dimension, including any form of magic which are considered outside of human wisdom and the world. When the blade makes contact with magic, the magical effect is immediately cancelled and the magic disperses away from the world. This blade can also go through divine or god-given abilities, negating its effect when the blade makes contact with the source or target of the ability for as long as the blade is touching the source or target.
Furthermore, as long as this Noble Phantasm is active, Kojirō cannot receive any rank reductions to his parameters, skills and Noble Phantasms, as Kojirō who is at the pinnacle of human swordsmanship cannot be altered from that pinnacle. Should Kojirō activate this Noble Phantasm while one or more of his parameters, skills and/or Noble Phantasms are reduced, then these reductions are removed and Kojirō receives a rank up to those affected parameters, skills and/or Noble Phantasms according to the number of rank reductions he had before this Noble Phantasm's activation. These rank ups also last for the entire duration of the Noble Phantasm's activation.
However, Kojirō does not currently remember the real name of his sword, so he cannot activate this Noble Phantasm. The derogatory name of Monohoshi Zao acts as a cover that precedes the identity of his blade known as Bizen Osafune Nagamitsu; simply put, there is a fictional cover over a genuine article. The 'nickname' known as Monohoshi Zao was imparted into history due to Miyamoto Musashi, his rival duelist, as an insult to Kojirō's blade during their fateful duel. Kojirō will only remember the name under two conditions. First, if he personally encounters Musashi or if he is reminded of the duel between him and Musashi, then he will remember the name Monohoshi Zao being given to his blade. He would realize that Monohoshi Zao was not his blade's true name, but it was something else that he cannot immediately recall. Second, after remembering Musashi and his duel, Kojirō must remember the time where he studied under his master, Toda Seigen, and defeated his master's younger brother. He would then remember distinctly that he gave a name to his own sword style known as 'Ganryū', and the name Bizen Osafune Nagamitsu would resound loudly in his mind. At that moment, he would then remember that he possesses and has access to this Noble Phantasm and would know of its full abilities.
Until Kojirō remembers his blade's true name, this Noble Phantasm will not be displayed on his status screen.

Height / Weight: 176cm・63kg Source: Historical Japan Home Region: Japan Alignment: Neutral Evil Gender: Male "No matter who it may be, one is evil from the moment he cuts down a person."
Rival of Japan's Greatest Duelist
A swordsman described as a worthy rival of one of Japan's prominent master fencer - Miyamoto Musashi. Mastering the Ganryū-style at a young age, a genius swordsman said to find no equal no matter where he went. And yet--- Wandering Samurai
A refined man who admires the beauties of nature and wraps his body in an elegant battle surcoat. Aloof from the world and having a somewhat elusive personality but, as expected, he is a warrior who likes fair and square contests. Due to living in an age where casualties happened on a daily basis, his perspectives about life and death may also seem cold-hearted for a modern person. The Real Sasaki Kojirō
Unlike the version of Sasaki Kojirō that is identified as a fictional swordsman within the Fuyuki Grail system, this Sasaki Kojirō is the genuine master swordsman who dueled with Miyamoto Musashi. The person who wielded Monohoshi Zao... The person who can perform Tsubame Gaeshi... These two persons that were considered separate entities from each other are rightfully merged, no, restored into a single entity known as Sasaki Kojirō.
His Desire to Duel that Man
Sasaki Kojirō wishes to have another duel with Miyamoto Musashi. Not only did his rival cheated and did many underhanded tactics and dishonorable actions for an arranged duel, but Kojirō felt that he was missing something for that particular duel. He wanted to reclaim what was lost to him... Remember what was forgotten to him... Perhaps enacting out that duel will make the samurai recall what was once so familiar to him but have now became so foreign instead.
