Though hot-blooded and for a normal's person point of view, Pyrrha's were almost suicidal and fanatical in their approach to fighting. Why wouldn't they be? they were made for combat and self preservation was secondary to fulling their duties. The encounter with these new enemies made everything tingle within the small Homunculus frame.
She was made for this
But the Servants around her were far above her and far, far better suited to facing those snake like creatures. She knew she wouldn't have been able to disable one of them that easily. Let alone three of them.
Their actions were synchronized and everything happened within instants. The lead snake tumbled out of balance when it was pierced by Assassin's arrows and nigh killed by Aoife's brutal hammer. Yet this did not have any visible effect on them. The Servant's actions also did not slow them down. Instead, the one closest to the sailing head leaped at it and ate it. The landing was almost an explosions causing dust to fill the red viper's surroundings. It had coiled it self and within the next few moments uncoiled itself, splitting in two, both converging from different sides at Berserker.
These things would not be so easily slain.
The third was unhindered and it sailed through the skies straight at Pyrrha.
Had she been normal, this would have been certain death. But though slower than a Servant, the Humunculi was not helpless and she tumbled out of the way of the red maw trying to devour it. In a precise slash, she moved the axe head of her Halberd into the body of the snake. It felt like she was cutting through gelatin, it reformed after her slash went through it. The snake like thing went after her, so Pyrrha slowly began to retreat and leap back, lashing out with her halberd. In nature the fight was defensive and the Hoddmimis fought to repel the thing. "Enemies, not after the probe. Move fighting to another area. Protect the probe." Even on the defensive, she could not display any emotions or any strain as she fended off the red monster.

Assassin did not appreciate taking instructions from others, but in this case the mad Berserker woman had come to the same conclusion she had upon observing the creatures. No matter where they were struck, the reformation process always began near the head of the creature, and that alone they seemed to protect from all attacks, sacrificing other portions of the body to do so. Which could only mean it was far more important to the creature than the rest of it's body. A vital point, perhaps.
While one of the snakes ate the decapitated head to save it from an arrow, they would not deny Assassin a chance to test her theory. But perhaps not on those two, Berserker could deal with them at present. After all, if their master perished then the mission was a failure regardless of the success of the servants.
Moving to a slightly closer position, Assassin fired an arrow into the back of the creature assaulting Pyrrha, sending it tumbling forward as the attack took it off guard. It recoiled and hissed, only to find another arrow barreling through it's mouth, only narrowly missing the creatures skull as it lurched up at the last moment to avoid complete destruction. Reassured in her deduction, Assassin whispered a prayer to the winds beneath her breath, asking for guidance. The serpent swayed to and fro as it regenerated, intentionally attempting to throw off the Assassins aim as it slowly crept forward.
Finally, just as it moved to strike, Assassin fired. The serpent lunged, only to find itself moving into the path the arrow traveled. Before it could recover from it's mistake, the arrow shattered through the head of the beast, obliterating the tiny head of the creature and causing the rest of it's body to thrash wildly as it dissolved into a murky, misty substance.
"The head is indeed their weak point. Make sure to destroy their skulls first."
Assassin turned to face Berserker again, drawing her bow up and aiming around the fellow servant. Waiting for a proper set up, she would fire an arrow at the head of one of the two remaining beasts the second Berserker created an opening for her to do so.
"Master, please see to the device."

This was what she lived for! Combat, thrashing bodies everywhere! Amazing... Aoife blasted a snake creature to the side with a hammer blow, while at the same time seeing Assassin's arrow punch through the head of one of the creatures... right she had been, good, good. Assassin had skillfully intercepted the attacker on their master, so Berserker could position herself for the fight, watching as the two remaining snakes came at her... she simply stepped back, having them crash into one another, before performing a hook like attack with her hammer that sent them churning into the air, for a hopefully decent set-up for Assassin.
Reaping the fame was not useful in such a situation, being effective was way more interesting. The Assassin was an Archer... weird, but helpful in any case and she seemed to be in possession of quite some skill in hunting down these weird creatures, so leaving the killing strokes to her would be... probably for the best. As such Aoife made sure to not get the one her partner was aiming at, as she burried the hook of her hammer's other side into the snake's tail, pulling it back down to the ground, before grinning wildly.
Time to splatter a incorporeal brain all over the place... seeing the gooey body drop to the ground in its full length, Berserker launched herself over the snake, performing half a summersault before coming crashing down on the poor creature... alas, she missed the head by a little as the snake-curse churned out of the way just slightly, having it's body from the neck down splattered into corrosive curses, with a few splatters hitting Aoife in the chest and legs, causing her to chuckle slightly. Her Mad Enhancement prevented her from feeling pain, yet the tiny wounds were annoying none the less. With a final roar, she kicked the creature's head with full force, sending it flying in the air, far away from its compatriot, into Assassin's general direction.
"SHOOT THAT, SHOOT IT FAST AND PIN IT DOWN! OR IT'LL COME FOR YOUR LITTLE ASS!" She yelled, laughing loudly as she catapulted herself next to their master again, awaiting more offenders. Alas... one was sailing as a head towards Assassin, the other was... who knew. Aoife's gaze wandered towards the snake she had initially launched up into the air with her hammer, tilting her head as if to find out what it would do next... her hammer was ready, although she had expected Assassin to kill her in the time it took her to kick the head.

The Hoddmimis did not acknowledge their own well being and the preservation of their lives in the same manner as most sentient beings. The value of self Pyrrha had for herself was only valuable for her objective.
Though she fended off the snake like monster aptly for a mere puppet. If she had lacked the objective of handling the probe and the responsibility of acting as the anchor for her Servants then her struggle against the beast would have likely ended up differently... possibly she would have survived the intervention but the most likely case was that she would have sacrificed her self in the process of eradicating her enemy...
Thankfully Assassin intervened. With nary a word and no pause, the Homunculus moved out of the way of the trashing beast and back to guarding the Diviner Probe. She checked the status of the scan and found a puzzling message on the screen.
ANOMALY DETECTED, INVALID SCAN.
The cause of the anomaly interrupting the scan, was fairly obvious.
"Monsters. Interrupt the scanning process. Eliminate them promptly." The small Homunculus stated, looking over the scuffle. Pyrrha did ever so lightly marveled at the brutality of Berserker's blow, even with their merciless nature even then the Homunculus could tell the bottomless talent that Servant possessed, the fighting skills honed over countless battles. Even at the presence of actual harm, the woman did not stop.
Pyrrha's hands tightened the grip on the halberd. Her stance became more rigid as her unfeeling eyes and expressionless face continued to watch the onslaught.

Well, for all her bluster Berserker proved herself to be useful, if nothing else. As one of the serpents sailed through the air toward her, thrown into the sky from Berserker's blow, Assassin adjusted her aim, took a moment to steel her breath, and released her arrow. As the Serpent's momentum carried it back toward the ground, it found itself intercepted, pierced through it's skull by the arrow as it's regenerating form wildly thrashed in the air. By the time the withering mass struck the ground hardly a foot from Assassin, it was barely more than a cloud of mist, vanishing into the air as it's very essence dissipated.
Which left only the final serpent.
It darted away from the group as it's two compatriots were dispatched, but it leered at them, clearly not intending to just turn tail and run. And from what their Master proclaimed, it seems the mission could not continue while it still lived. What should have been a relatively easy kill however, was made complicated by it's complete focus on not suffering the same fate as it's two compatriots. As Assassin fired an arrow toward the beasts head, intent on slaying it immediately, it coiled to the side, suffering only a graze from the arrow. While this still left a large gash in the serpents form, it's regenerative nature made this almost trivial. Assassin attempted once more, but the second attack had about as much success as the first.
So instead, she aimed to maim.
"Berserker, dispatch it's head while it is disabled."
Firing two arrows in quick succession, she managed to blow a large hole in the creature's form, pinning it to the ground with an arrow as it moved to dodge the first arrow. Still, it was down, and it would be a trivial task for Berserker to smash it's skull to pieces across the ground. Or if she would not, perhaps their Master could do so: Her weapon seemed suited enough to the task. Assassin could close the distance and do it herself, but that would just be wasteful.

Eliminate them promptly. Like the pint-sized one had to tell them! Geez, this was obnoxious. So instead of replying, Aoife simply grunted vaguely at the homunculus, before watching as the second to last serpent got nailed to death. Finally the last serpent tried to scurry away, almost as if to regroup. But before any real counter attack could actually form itself, Aoife darted towards the snake, razing the ground as her spontanious acceleration carried her before the serpent, right as Assassin let her arrows lose. The creature got pinned to the ground, easy prey for the Berserker, which felt the enhancements of her artificially induced madness surge through her body, as a varocious smile adorned her features.
Then her hammer came down onto the snake's head and splattered it, its core bursting, as the entire body just dissolved into muck. Alas, Berserker Aoife did not make a point of holding back, so the hammer strike, formed a crater in the very ground as well, preventing the muck from flowing towards herself. Aoife then made an effort to evade the flying bits and pieces to the best of her ability, predicting their trajectory without too much issue, until she finally danced to the right of the dissolved corpse.
Rushing back to their supplier's side with two quick strides, Berserker then shouldered her hammer with a smug expression before asking:"Anomaly gone?" It was almost a trivializing question, but it also interested her. The damn thing had not said anything about an anomaly when they'd originally gotten attacked. But if it was really so delayed... well then it was damn well broken. At least that's what it seemed like. But why the fuck was she even bothering? Instead she raised a hand and gave a silent thumbs up towards Assassin. She'd shot good enough to not be worth jackshit. Might even be a fun fight at some point. Heh... best not let that slip aloud, else she'd have some inflated ego chasing her ass all over the place until she put them into their -actual- place.

[SENSOR INFO] [DISPLAY.PROCEDURE INITIALIZED]
///////////////////////////////////////////////
Red mud is bleeding from the banks , tainting the waters below me. The bridge has been left littered with only a few vehicles, and I doubt anyone is remains alive inside of them.
This place had seen many battles over the years, a collection of clashes that few other lands could match in scale and quantity. Curiously, these had not been recorded in the history books as they were part of a hidden war. Were there any legends about this place? Eh. I guess there was that one.
Well, I guess that makes me lucky. At least I know about the rich history of my grave.
The mark in my arm hurts. If this was a sign of my pedigree as a master, then it should surely hurt, since I have failed.
This war is already over.
It ended before any battle could be fought.
