Archer’s return coincided with the last wave of enemies, and his timely disposal of them was appreciated. With all the enemies defeated, it should be a simple matter of waiting for however much longer the probe required of them. Anton’s response that there was less than a minute remaining was even better, soon enough their mission would end as an unqualified success.
“I am glad that this trial bore fruit. Congratulations, Master.” It was somewhat embarrassing to his pride as a Heroic Spirit, such as it was, that he had to rely on his Master as much as he did. Hopefully, being a weak Heroic Spirit that needed help to dispose of their enemies wasn’t the lasting impression he gave. “I hope we shall work again later. It was a pleasure.”
Just then, the return of Berserker burst onto the scene, and with a mighty roar, he sinks to the ground. The entrance was certainly dramatic enough to warrant action, but soon enough, the young doctor was back with them. While his clothes were certainly affected by the tribulations he inevitably went through down in the middle of the building, he was quite happy to see that he wasn’t hurt.
“Very much so. Your actions in dispersing them at their source was integral. Between that, Archer’s covering fire, and the ingenuity of our Master, there was never a chance for this to fail.” If this was to be the norm of his time spent within Chaldea, he would certainly need to step things up. He certainly didn’t want to be a weight on them, as he was today. Turning to his Master, he smiles. “I believe we are finished here. Please, when it is convenient for you, let us return home.”
